Iceman88
Also he never did that much better the Willingham and was using Willinghams recruits. Seriously I hope Notre Dame become sh*t under Weis and Washington becomes great under Willingham.
124
He's starting clausen this week. Not that i care about them. If the Oline lets up 9 sacks again it doesn't matter if they're starting Joe Willie Namath back there. They're toast.

Bugg
Weis probably gets a pass this year if Clausen make some progress, and the defense and OL improve, all of which ahs to happen based on the crappy GT game. Winning a bowl game-ANY BOWL GAME-something the Iirsh haven't done in 13 years-would help. It's clear that what talent Weis has recruited is probably frosh and sophomores. Willingham isn't nearly as bad as Edwards. He was average at ND and okay at Stanford. But he's no where near the coach Weis is. Weis understands that academics limits who he can recruit, and he hasn't cried about it like a little girl like Willingham and Davie did. It is what it is, and it comes with the job. One thing- enough of "All America" boxing safety Tom Zibkowski, featured yet again in this week's SI. Bob Papa described him, slowly as ketchup, blitzing as a "delayed blitz". He's slow, he's white and he's an interesting story, but he's the most overrated player in Div.I. He won't amount to much in the NFL(John Mcgraw without the injuirers, perhaps?), and what accolades he gets are due to the ND PR machine. That Zibkowski is still returning punts means SOMEBODY in the last 2 recruiting classes just isn't quite ready yet.

He's also been a compete pompous jackass since he's got there and he hasnt won a darn thing. He's got completely embarrassed in bowl games. Weiss doesnt deserve a pass for anything for the way he carries himself. I hope this joke of a contract blows up in ND's face.
