drago
No problem bro So did you get that whole Penny/Clemens thing sorted out? you guys got the whole nursing home for your linebackers lined up yet? jk bro, i have speant some, and i emphasize 'some', time over at fin heaven, you guys seemed pretty split on liking, or hating your 07 draft class. Interesting reads though.

Interesting reads though. The people over at FH seem to be split down the middle on every issue, but the draft class might be the one where we agree the most. All 10 draft picks made the team and we got 3 opening day starters out of the whole deal and the other guys will all contribute too. This draft was the best one that Miami has had in years. Add to that, the young players like Roth, Wright and Daniels all seem ready to take the next step.......our team is alot younger and more talented. The OL still concerns me though. One of our rookies (Drew Mormino) went on IR a couple of days ago. He was slated to start, received great praise from vets like Zach and he had a nasty edge to him. The only 2 spots on the line that are set and I have 100% confidence in are LT Carey and C Satele. After that............ . This team will only go as far as the OL can take it. Who are the starters? i thought i heard ginn was going to be the slot WR to start the season, but not at number 2 right? Of course Green is starting, so that means Beck isn't. You guys had a lot of draft picks, wish we could say the same. As long as you beat the pats once this year i'll be a happy camper. Good luck with the skins (sort of ). like2god
Does spending your first pick on a Punt Returner bother any of you? LOL I knew that was coming. Ginn isn't just a PR, he is a pretty good WR as well. He shown that he can run over the middle (which was a knock that I heard all too often from Jets fans), his hands are very good and his speed is EXCELLENT. Cam has been playing motivation games with his players, making Ronnie the KR for a couple of games to motivate him and Ginn, making Shelton practice with the 2nd team, etc, but Ted is the opening day returner and #3 receiver. He will be utilized and moved around the field to create matchup problems. I really like that pick, Miami desperately needed to improve it's speed and big play ability, and I think they have done that with Ginn and L. Booker. Of course Green is starting, so that means Beck isn't. You guys had a lot of draft picks, wish we could say the same. Ginn is the #3 receiver The starters are Satele at C, Mauia at FB and Fields the P. Mormino would have been the 4th starter at RG, but he went on IR a week ago. Satele had the job one from the first day of camp, the kid looks like he will be a fixture on the Miami OL for a decade. Fields has one of the most powerful legs on a punter that Miami has had in a while, he needs to work on his adjustments when he gets a bad snap though, he has had a few bad punts and one blocked because he went into his normal windup. And Mauia "The Juggernaut" is a friggin beast, 6' 270, he has speed and he loves to hit. Miami signed Cory Schlesinger in the offseason to be the starting FB and the Dolphins ended up cutting him because A) he didn't do much to impress and they were very impressed with Mauia. As long as you beat the pats once this year i'll be a happy camper. Good luck with the skins (sort of ).

I dind't know you brought in schlesinger, i always thought he was pretty good. i have to say i'm interested to see what's going on with porter. i was shocked that Pitt dropped him like that, makes me think he lost a step to an extent. We'll see, he's always had the intensity which never hurts.

But my brother is a huge Steelers fan (poor guy) and he said that Joey was nursing injuries last year and trying to play through the pain. I guess it was more of a money issue with the off year and "declining skills" being used as an excuse to let him go Thanks man, it takes a lot to say that.
