BaumerJet
I don't buy it. maybe 1% of that stadium actually felt some pain for Chad but it was pretty clear from the 80,000 roaring cheers as he kept falling down and the deafening thunder of ovation the Kellen got when he came in. Jets fan arent getting off the hook so easily. if you were there and you didnt cheer you are just as guilty simply by association.I wasnt even in the same state and i am sick with myself that i didnt get a ticket to see the game and fly to NY so that there was one less ******* out there. Went off at everyone in our area - look at what I wrote about it in my JETS NOTES just yesterday... http://www.hometown.aol.com/baumerjet/myhomepage/week01.html
NY JETS 29
True statement, I was removed from the game for fighting with 3 peopel beyond me. It was classless and an embarassment for our fan base.

Are you now going to lose your season tickets or what Kev? That would suck. Good time seeing you yesterday. See you against Miami, maybe.

Smizzy
Well, you can blame half the idiots here who have been waiting for him to get hurt since last since. You know who you are. BZ Blame half of us here ? How do you know how many of us cheered or better yet that they were JN posters? Do tell.
124
Blame half of us here ? How do you know how many of us cheered or better yet that they were JN posters? Do tell. Please Smizz, lets not be foolish here. The BZ's, madmike's and ecurb's of the world know all! We are just peasents in their world's and Chad is god. I cheered for Kellen, not that Chad was hurt. I never root on injuries, no matter how much I dislike a player.

Smizzy
Most of the people in my area, which is very close to yours were hugging one and another saying "It's about time they get rid of that f-n waste of a QB" and "Thank God, we finally get a QB in Clements." It's appauling to say the least & I hope everyone who praised this injury have their livers rot out from the alcohol they were drinking. Especially since that's the only reason they go to the games these days anyway! WE AS SEASON TICKET HOLDERS SHOULD BE ASHAMED! Yes....We should all wish death and that peoples lives ROT OUT from under them because they cheered when chad twisted his ankle during a game he gets paid MILLIONS of dollars to play. How is this comment any less pathetic than cheering an injury? When someone cuts you off in a car ,do wish that the car would wreck and kill everyone in it right infront of you? I think we are talking this whole Chad and his boo boo too far. There is a kid in Buffalo who might not be able to breathj again on his own and we are crying over chads footsie! NY JETS 29
I think from reading all these posts whether we like chad or not believe it was an embarassing moment for us. What i think needs to be done now is for someone in that organization to stand up and tell us we were classless and embarassing. I would love to see a guy like coles or sean ellis tell us what we did yesterday was a disgrace b/c it was. Everyone loves the backup qb and change, its normal but as a human being dont sit there and cheer for someones injury especially strong armed or not someone who has worked his tail off to help us win. what gets me the most are people who try to justify that they were cheers for clemens, that is just dumb, most of us were either there or heard it on tv. i was there and they were cheers for chad wen he went back to ground. dont attempt to justify it. DHJF
I recall a Jet fan a few rows below me laughing and screaming, "It's our Brady moment! Finally! Our Brady moment!" (Referring, of course, to Lewis' hit on Bledsoe that sparked the Brady era in New England) I just stood there. Couldn't believe what I'd just heard. I'm definitely ashamed to don the green & white at the moment.
bear
As did I. I cheered, but it certainly wasnt because Chad was coming off the field, it was Kellen coming in. Why Mike and Chris and every other media guy cant understand that is beyond me. because the media loves controversy!!! i hope the fans were cheering for clemens, not that chad got hurt. i honestly alomst cried when i seen chad trying to get up,and fall twice. it`s a shame that his career never really took off .i still blame this situation on d`brick. chad is a fighter with a huge heart. i wihs him a speedy recovery
Barton
So we arent allowed to root and support the new QB who comes in the game?? Steve Serby is a moron. What are we supposed to do, wear black to all the games from now on (or at our homes in front of the tv) and kneel in mourning because THE CHAD got injured? Gimme a break.
