Justin Miller, you know, the Pro Bowl KR

What was the deal with him sitting on the bench?

Leon is no slouch, but we have a Pro Bowl caliber KR on our roster.

Why weren't we utilizing him?

He fumbles once and gets the hook?

Was he hurt?

Unreal.

He sucked at DB and fumbled on KR... why wouldnt he be benched?

Last year means nothing

Ridiculous.

What does defensive coverage have to do with kick returning?

One fumble = benching?

He was our best shot at getting back in the game after Ellis Hobbs tore up the record books with his 108-yard TD return.

Last year means nothing?

Take a step back for a second, think, and then realize what you just posted.

I was at the game so I couldnt know for sure if he was hurt or not, but I do think Mangini was sending Miller a message by benching him for that fumble and the coverage lapses. It lets him and other players know that last year is history and this year is a clean slate, and no one is invincible....

I understand this.

But come on.

Enough with this austere bull****.

He is the best player we have at that position.

Seeing that he was hurt, this is a non-issue.

Mangini -- I hope -- isn't that ego-maniacal.

I don't believe anyone actually said he was hurt, one of the last plays he was in, he got beat, then the guy just ran away from him.

Miller may make some bone head plays as a DB, but seldom does someone run away from him. I have to assume he was hurt

Mangini said he was hurt in the postgame.

One thing-right before the fumble, Miller was jumping up and down in the end zone to get the fans riles up. I don't knowif someone thought it was a big deal. May be it was seen as a problem of taking care of business or lack of concentration. Just one of many things that went awry.
