LionelRichie
yeah, the jets were absolutely smoked today - in all phases of the game. the good news is that it still only counts for 1 game. the saints, an NFC super bowl favorite were also hammered this week so let's keep it in perspective. i still remember the pats getting beat 31-0 by the bills on openning day and then going on to win the super bowl. look for the jets to bounce back and play much better next week. Iceman88
look for the jets to bounce back and play much better next week. Sadly I doubt that will happen. We're going to be playing an extremely good physical defense in the Ravens and Chad might not be able to play. I like Kellen but having any QB make his first NFL start against that defense isn't going to end well.

This is very true. In 98 we lost the first two games too. If memeory serves me correctly the Steelers won big in their opener last year and didn't even make the playoffs. madmike1
If they can't stop that horrible offense down in baltimore next week when they are coming off of a short week it's gonna be a LONG season.

I think the real test is week 3 against the Dolphins. Jets are going to lose next week at B-more, no f'ing doubt. But if they can't beat Miami this team has serious problems. madmike1
One word: McGahee. There is nothing magic about McGahee. In fact he's really not that good. If the jets play decently they will stop him. NTM that passing game is a joke.

BwanaZulia
One kids. One game. If you thought the Jets were going to beat one of the best teams in the NFL easily, well, we were wrong. Let's play a few more before we all go running like the world is on fire. BZ
