Pragmatic Bus
here we go again jets lose one game and every critic on this forum has become a football analyst. first off i would like to give a big F to the jets post game report card. i disagree with amost everything that was in that report card. now even though im known to be critical of chad but he showed us again that he is inspirational competitor. but unfortunately he is not made of steele. and on top of that he lacks mobility and arm strength. contrary to the popular belief i think the defensive line which is kenyon coleman. dewayne robertson, and shaun ellis. were the best unit out there for the jets. unfortunately our linebackers left there lunch boxes at home and were invisible the whole game. if somebody disagrees watch the tape again. unfortunately for the jets andre dyson was hurt and didnt play. otherwise we might have done better job shuting the pass. the offensive line wasnt so bad compared to what they were going up against. pat made those offseason moves for a reason. they knew jets were rebuilding and getting better slowly and as a desparation they loaded themselves more to make sure the jets dont upset there last chance of winning one more super bowl as the window of opportunity is closing for them. comparing jets to patriots right now is like comparing a teenager to a fully grown adult. what jets did last year was a miracle. but miracle dont happen everyday, like i said before and i say this again, rebuilding takes time. and it will take more time and talent for the jets to completely turn this around. seriosly if the jets had gone 6-10 instead of 10-6 last year we would not have been dissapointed by the loss today. ps. peternorth wants herm back, lol just saying... Pragmatic Bus
i mean this is rediculous that your calling dbrick a bust after the first game . its just sad. he is a young player he needs time to develope. look at mike nugent. he had a poor first rookie year and first few games in his second season and people started to call him a bust while i kept saying that he will come around he needed more time. and i was right

I think he hates everyone. He's labeled Brodie Croyle a bust as well based on like 5 passes he threw last year. D'Brick , like you stated, is still only a 2nd year player. Young, still getting his feet wet, gaining experience. He just needs some time to develop. It's a shame some loudmouths have such an itchy trigger finger. Thai Jet
and i also think that bob suttons days are numbered with the jets He may be in over his head. If I recall at the time, he had NO experience with a 3/4 D.
Pragmatic Bus
people keep forgetting that patriots are super bowl favourites. and bob sutton did a bad job of matching up randy moss with miller and barret. brady will take advantage of that every time. against revis tom brady threw for only 2 passes and about 5 yards or something

Thai Jet
revis will be a shutdown lock down whatever you wanna call it down cornerback for years to come Let's hope so. There at a premium and one reason why the FO wanted to sign him for 6 years not just 5.

#27TheDominator
I agree that Revis looks really good and that they missed Dyson. I don't agree about Sutton. IMO, Sutton is just a figurehead. If they fire him it'll just be to find a scapegoat. As far as I'm concerned this D falls squarely on Mangini's shoulders. If they suck, it's his fault 100%. I agree with that, the defense is ultimately Mangini's responsibility. I do blame the horrible playcalling on Sutton though.

Completely disagree. Coleman showed good agility and made a bunch of tackles. Drob made a few. Ellis was invisible. But none of them are doing what 3-4 d-linemen are supposed to do. They all are still playing like it is one gap and not holding the line and tying up blockers. Even considering that, our LBers did not play well yesterday, but they have plenty of enough talent to succeed if they had a real 3-4 line in front of them. When you watch the tape, watch the Patriots d-linemen. That is how it is supposed to be done.
GimmeShelter
One of the better posts after yesterdays loss. Good job...no agenda...no I am a HC in waiting....no grades based on players favored......Just a good post.
Wakey
My Saints board is going a bit bonkers as well. Some want to trade Reggie Bush.. The fact of the matter is we both had a bad game, it happens. Not the way you want to open a season but EVERY team has bad games. Last year the Cowboys beat Indy to end their streak and a few weeks later we went into Dallas and punked them so anything can and will happen.
