Latinlawyer
When the D-Line can't get any pressure, and the O-line can't run block...no team is going to win. Brady had all the time in the world back there. Jets have no pressure from anywhere...how is this 3-4 working out? Vilma looked lost on that TD. O-Line....Mangold looked ok but D'Brick shat a brick. He got manhandled and I don't know if D'Brick will ever live up to that #4 draft pick status (See Mario Williams #1 pick status). Mangold so far looks like the better of the two 1st rounders. The Jets need to be aggressive with blitz schemes to compensate for the lack of front 3-4 push...if not every team will just wait till a WR opens up. RSJ
I agree LL. The problem is we really don't even have the blitzing LB's or the CB's to send the house. Dyson being hurt really hurt us. I agree with you on the OL. We either need better coaching or better players. We also still need a NT or get Vilma off the field in the mean time. 1stand2nd
I was so happy on draft day, 2006 when Tangini took 2 o-linemen early. I thought they saw the wisdom of building a team from the inside out. Since that day they've done little to upgrade the all important inside game - offense or defense. If they don't get better at pushing the other teams' lines around they don't have much hope of being a good team.
drago
no chit it's our lines. Did someone seriously make a thread blaming our secondary? what a crock of chit. the secondary was told to hold them for 5 seconds every play. We weren't in the same league yesterday, dominated in every aspect.

NJJETSFAN
I was so upset watching that game... it is true they left Brady sooo much time to throw! It was like he was just hanging out there and no one was around to stop him! What in the world were they doing?
Latinlawyer
If this was school yard ball..Brady had like 7 MISSISSIPPI's and Chad had 1. That is how you can tell the lines are in shambles. Outside of Mangold..that O-line is bad. LL

Tangini certainly seems to think they're a good group of players!
