if it turns out that the pats seriously cheated....maybe we should all march on the nfl offices...they are right here in nyc....thousands of jet fans demanding action be taken....demanding the game be dismissed....

Tell me where and when and I will be there early but I really don't believe this could have happened.

I have so much blind faith in the nfl it's disgusting.

I just hope they haven't been putting one over on me this entire time.

First after the way the JET fans acted on tv at the stadium after Chad got hurt ,i`m sure Goddall really cares about what a bunch of JET fans think today or tommorrow. Second our defense was so bad not even looking back for the ball to see if it was comming anywhere near them ,they could have put our defense in their offensive huddle and we still wouldn`t have been able to stop them ,they were just that good and we were just that bad ,unlike the William sisters ,i`ll admit when I/WE were bested by a better team..

Could you have a camera that could direct a "live feed" up to someone in the coach's box, I'm not that electronicly savvey but if thats possible it would take only a couple of series to figure out the signals which would be a HUGE advantage...Rhodes quote would make alot of sense. That hurts the integrity of the game in a big way..The game has to be fair or why watch?

Nobody's saying that. Yes we lost, yes the Pats were the much better team. It doesn't change the fact you might have cheated, even if it wouldn't have changed the outcome the Pats don't deserve to get away with it. Cheating is cheating, it ruins the integrity of the game and shouldn't be tolerated.

So are you saying it's not a huge advantage to know the signals ??, say if a blitz is coming and from where its coming..The game last year the Jets won and even the play-off game they were able to pressure brady..This time they seemed to have it all figured out..coincidence..I think not!!

Yeah the Jets looked bad yesterday. I wonder if that had anything to do with the Pats knowing what play they were going to run.

So, the Pats were the superior team because they "allegedly" cheated. Having better talent all around has absolutely nothing to do with it.

I need clarification here. I thought the allegations were that some film guy was taking video of the Defensive coaches - now they were filming the Offense too? Damn, how many cameras were there? How 'bout the special teams coach? You think he signaled to BB that Ellis should definitely take the ball out from the back of the end zone and run it out?

Garb, the point is completely flying right over your head. Yes your team is better than ours. Yes they will likely beat us fair and square. Guess what, it doesn't matter because your team CHEATED. Using "allegedly" right now is like the people who were defending Vick while the evidence was mounting. A tape with video of our defensive signs taken from a guy on your sidelines is now in the commissioner's hands.

Your argument is much like the Barry Bonds defenders. Yes, Barry is likely better than 99% of all players in the league without steroids in his prime, that doesn't detract from the fact that he took steroids and cheated.

Your team deserves punishment. Personally I think a forfeit is not punishment enough, nor do I want the win for the Jets. You deserve to hurt right where it counts most, in the draft. IMO you should forfeit a first round pick, preferably the higher of the 2.

I stated earlier tonight that I would be very disappointed in BB if this allegation was proven to be true.

Can you say Green Bay? :bag: In all seriousness, deflecting it or using the fact that other people have done worse doesn't change it if true. It compromises whatever vestiges are left in a world of juicing and God knows what else.

I'm not trying to gloss over the fact we got shellacked, but if this is true (Lions, Packers and now Jets), has Belifraud really lost all sight of anything resembling a moral compass? I'm really starting to think there's something seriously wrong with this guy. Meaning, has he become so ruthless in character to win that it's gone beyond ruthless and killer instinct - and has turned into something else?

Why would he feel he has to resort to such a thing if he's so c*cksure of himself? I wouldn't put it past him to shiv his own Grandmother if she was standing in the way of something he wanted. What happens to people? Not that he was ever Mr. Congeniality, but sheeeoooot. There are certain lines in the sand that he's bound cross at the rate he's going - and no longer be able to get away with. His arrogance will be the death of him, no matter how many rings he's got or how many more he may get. I really believe that. And of course, no-one will care if the glory is ill-gotten. It wouldn't make me not be a fan if I was a NE fan myself, but it would certainly lose it's sparkle at least somewhat. Blood money never feels as good when you spend it as money rightfully earned.

I want to be clear on this. I'm not setting myself apart as morally superior, and I think it's important to say that. I've done my share of chitty things, as have we all. But something about this guy...at least what he shows the public which is all 9/10ths of us have to go on. Even still, some of that starts to collectively form some sort of picture in the public eye, which is the arena he's in. And it isn't a flattering one.

Chime in Garb and every other Pats fan, "Who give a cr*p as long as we win? As if Jets fans would give a cr*p if it was them." Some of us would. I'm not saying I would trade a culture of winning and give it back, I'm saying it would dull it for me a bit. I sure that goes for the fans of any team, no matter how small their number. And don't be thinking I wasn't furious over that 'cheering' travesty during yesterday's trainwreck. I was disgusted.

EDIT: I'm really friggin' tired tonight (again). Pardon the editing frenzy. If I misspell or repeat or leave out entire words one more f*cking time tonight, I'll start shooting. See how nice I am? :)

the rumors are already circulating from other teams that the patriots have done this before.

our players commented after the game that it was like they knew everything we were going to do before we did it.

last year it was reported that the patriots recorded pennington's audibles and line calls.

Belichick is not a straight person, and I don't mean he's gay, although he might be.

the patriots may have better talent, but apparently it doesn't stop them from being underhanded. no different than a bully who needs to fight with an unfair advantage.
