Alk
I apoligize for bumping one of the Patriots threads off of the first page but I felt this was newsworthy. Paging Brady Quinn, time to come take your beating. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7214446?MSNHPHMA

Irish Jet
Romeo Crennel really wasnt kidding when he said naming him the starter didnt mean much.
lawngnome o-line
Well if you didn't think Crennel was behind this deal then your totally wrong. Face it, between Jeff Garcia failing and Charlie Frye being a product of Crennel's draft....he obviously saw no hope in this guy saving his job. If Quinn somehow was able to play his team to near mediocre....I'm talking 7-9 at worst, Crennel could be saved. Even if that was the case Frye would be gone. Anything less, Frye would've been released by the end of the season and Crennel would've been fired. Might as well get something for a guy who really hasn't showed much because of a bum line and play makers who are injured prone.

124
Interesting. So now do they go with Derek Anderson or do they throw Brady Quinn to the wolves? This is a great trade for Seattle IMO. A 6th round pick for a real NFL Quarterback? Very good move. Seneca Wallace is a nice hybrid guy, but he is no #2 QB.

That management isn't exactly what you would call a strong one.

JetCane
Brady Quinn is reported to be the 3rd QB heading into this week.... that is AFTER the trade He is #2, and the Browns resigned Dorsey as the #3. Dorsey has been Quinn's mentor and will continue to mentor him until Quinn gets the start, probabvly in a few weeks. Dorsey does not have the arm to play QB in the NFL but he will definitely be a great Qb coach/OC someday. Bank it.
