drago
wow, i thought we jet fans were just being whiney b!tches about this. sounds lik ethere is more to it. If goodell treats this like he has treated everything else, there is no telling what he might do to the Pats. I am really likeing Roger Goodell so far, the no-nonsense adittude is a good thing for this league.

RSJ
nothing will happen to them of any significance. I wouldn't be so sure of that. This is pretty serious stuff and if it is not handled correctly you will have other teams doing it.

I agree. I try not to think of excuses as to why we lost, i just think of the positives that we pulled from the game. When i was watching it, it did seem very strange that our blitzes had 0% effectivness, and that Brady was never on the ground. Say what you want about us not having as good a defense as the Pats or whatever, but we have always been able to get some pressure against every other team. the game did look odd, and i really hope they can put BB in his place. Green DNA
Wow, to be a fly on the wall in that office. If Tagliabue was still the commissioner the conversation would go like this: Tags: Dammit Bill, I asked you to be more discreet with this cheating stuff Belichicken: WTF, I thought you told your security guys to look the other way?? Tags: Take it easy Bill, I need to give the impression of being objective, you know how it is Belichicken: Let's go with the stern warning and leave it at that Tags: Ok Bill, just tell me how you would like me to word it and it's done. BTW, I have Moss on my fantasy team, hook me up this weekend. Belichick: Sure Tags, tell the wife I send my regards, (wink, wink)

Jetheelz
Anyone else sick and tired of this story? I may be in the minority here, but it is in my opinion that even if the guy taped the Jets and relayed their defensive signals, we still would have lost....we couldn't do anything not just on defense but on offense (no protection and Chad nearly got killed), plus our horrible special teams (see Ellis Hobbs). As a fan I am eager to see this story reach its conclusion so we will not be distracted by it anymore..then we can concentrate on what matters, and that is the games. Just my 2 cents, ignore as needed.

Justagame
Darn it, I was starting to get excited, but these were a couple of other paragraphs in the article: "Patriots spokesman Stacey James said a SportsCenter 5 report Tuesday that coach Bill Belichick had been summoned to New York by the NFL commissioner was not correct.... An NFL official told SportsCenter 5 that teams have the chance to respond to such allegations, but the meeting does not need to take place in person.
