CoachTsurfing
What if the Jets stole signs against whatever team? Would you still be a Jets fan? Would you want the coach sacked? I can't even imagine being a Pats fan now. Every one of their wins and superbowl titles seem a little tainted. Kind of like the Barry Bonds ordeal. timbok
I would remain a Jets fan..only id they did it against the Pats
PFSIKH
You know the answer. Go look at when Miller was arrested. There were more people willing to give him a pass then hold him accountable because, "he is great on STs.....a difference maker." That is for a man hitting a women. If Mangini got caught, it would be, "oh well. Everyone does it."
hoping4ASuperBowl
No. If we were to find out the Jets were cheating too, I would have to stop cheering for the Jets because, well i dont wanna be classified as a "Patriot"

Verde
It would totally disgust me and I would be completely embarrassed knowing that everyone saw my team as cheaters. Coaches and coaching staffs are not forever, however. So "disowning" the team (that will ultimately have a new set of coaches some day) would be silly. It would be more realistic to call for the ousting of the coach (who has really brought nothing to your organization..yet).
nyjetsjetsjets
I would be very dissapointed and I would never look at the man or the team the same again. Another team did it and Im not sure I want to watch, if my team did it, I don't know what I would do.

Suppose your coach has brought your team 3 super bowls. Then what?
RSJ
Now to bring this to the same level as we're at. Suppose your coach has brought your team 3 super bowls. Then what? I'm just being completely honest here. That said coach would have the rest of this year to perform and if he didn't I would want him gone. If the Pats go even 9-7 this season, the franchise will be tarnished for a while.

I don't know about her, but I would feel like throwing up. The team I cheered so hard for, I spent so much time paying attention to, was just a cheat. I would be very sad. Although, I'm pretty sad to think that anyone in the nfl would do such things.

NJJETSFAN
I would stay a jets fan, but it would never be the same.. I mean you could never really know what else they are capable of if they were so sneaky about this.. Who knows how long the Pats have been doing this! Makes you think if they won all of their games like this. I would def. want the coach GONE!

That is the right answer if you ask me and I think that's what it's going to come down to. Even with the three super bowls I think Belichick is now on thin ice. If after the crackdown, he goes back to the Cleveland Belichick, he's as good as gone.
Verde
Now to bring this to the same level as we're at. Suppose your coach has brought your team 3 super bowls. Then what? From that vantage, I completely understand your the need to defend your coach. Even with SB 3 titles, I would be completely embarrassed knowing that everyone and the devil labeled my team as cheaters.. and that now everyone is questioning how you may have gotten those 3 titles. I would be angry that he resorted to cheating and I would agree with whatever punishment was handed to my team/coach. I really can't imagine that any Patriots fan doesn't think that BB/the Pats deserve a hefty punishment and a microscope placed upon them moving forward. But, there is no way that this pats team is going to be 9-7. I thought before the season and even before they were caught cheating that they had the players to make a run at the super bowl. That's what baffles me as why to cheat. They've been so dominate. Why??? Unless, they've been so dominate because they stole def. signs.
