Jetsfan80
I'm in a 6-team league and at the moment have a problem that's really a GOOD one to have: 6 quality WR's. My question is, which 3 receivers of the 6 should I start this week? I'll provide the WR's, their matchup, and stats from week 1 below: Chad Johnson (@ Cleveland): 95 yds receiving, 1 TD in Week 1 vs. BAL Plaxico Burress (Green Bay): 144 yds receiving, 3 TD's in Week 1 @ DAL Andre Johnson (@ Carolina): 142 yds receiving, 1 TD in Week 1 vs. KC T.J. Houshmandzadeh (@ Cleveland): 50 yds receiving, 1 TD in week 1 vs. BAL Lee Evans (@ Pittsburgh): 5 yds receiving, 0 TD's in Week 1 vs. DEN Laveranues Coles (@ Baltimore): 59 yds receiving, 2 TD's in Week 1 vs. NE Any help given would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Matt39
Chad Johnson, Andre Johnson and Plaxico if Eli plays. If not, go with Housh.
Jetsfan80
Chad Johnson, Andre Johnson and Plaxico if Eli plays. If not, go with Housh. Manning is out for a month, last I checked. So I'm guessing you'd say I should go with Housh? One nice thing is that Carson Palmer is my QB. So if he has a big week against Cleveland (likely) and, say, throws a TD to Chad AND Housh, I'd get 24 pts off that alone.

Yeah I had Carson and Housh last year, it was a nice punch. Personally I dont trust lee Evans at all, Losman still stinks. And Chad is out, so who the hell knows how KC and Coles will do together. Plus its the Ravens. You could roll the dice with Plax, but he does have a tendency to have huge games then follow it with a dud. Housh is one of the more consistent fantasy WR out there. drago
the Johnson boys, and Lee Evans...no question eli is supposedly out, i haven't read into it, but i hear he could be out a while. TJ is a always a good play, but you might get a goose egg from one of the other. either way you will probably have a monster week.

Jetsfan80
Thanks for your help guys. I was leaning towards Andre and the Bengals duo, but just wanted a second opinion. I'm not going to start Lee Evans until he PROVES to me he can produce. I know Denver's secondary is tough, but 5 yards just doesn't fly. Furthermore, as was mentioned earlier, I don't trust Losman. Plaxico would have gotten the nod over either TJ or Andre if Manning were healthy. Same goes for Coles if Pennington were healthy. With both NY QB's out, I can't afford to risk it. Andre, Chad, TJ get the nod.

Jetsfan80
I think I made the right choices. So far today, Chad, TJ and Andre Johnson are all kicking ass: Chad Johnson: 7 catches, 111 yards, TD (halftime) TJ Houshmandzadeh: 4 catches, 43 yards, TD (halftime) Andre Johnson: 5 catches, 90 yards, 2 TD's (halftime) And since Carson Palmer (16-20, 206 yds, 3 TD at the half) is my QB, I've basically clinched a victory this week. Thanks for the advice guys.

Lee EVans unfortunately does not have an NFL QB throwing him the ball.

Andre Johnson got hurt during Houston's win yesterday, so Evans might HAVE to start for me next week.
