Any healing has to start with... A full an forthright coming-to-Jesus moment for Bill Belichick and the Pats. Anything less will simply be an extension and continuation of the (to be expected) deny deny deny posture.

BB has to go into specific and complete detail about which employees past and present were involved with the cheating scheme(s), and what were their roles in the operation. He needs to come clean about exactly what they were doing and how the technology was made to work for the Pats. Which sp[ecific games did it have an affect on the outcome? Was interference with oppponents radio technolgy part of the program or not? If so, how? If any hard physical evidence exists such as computer databases or libraries of video (and it is hard to believe that these do not exist) then those need to be turned over to the league office. If there is any holding back of information or any attempt to lie about what they were dpoing then this should be treated as a seperate and new occurrence.

In short, BB needs to cooperate with the league office the same way that Michael Vick has to cooperate with the Feds moving forward. He needs to provide a full and complete accounting for every nefarios ploy and dirty trick in the book. Not just the ones he knows they have been caught out on. Everyone involved in this mess should be put on probation by the NFL and informed that even one incident of this kind in the futute would lead to a ban on working for the NFL or any of their franchises. Everyone should be fully interviewed about the extent and duration of the cheating.

Fair enough, if they (the Pats) want the world to believe in the sincerity of their remorse then they are going to have to come up with some way to prove it.

P.S. If this means Eric mangini gets a little mud on his resume then so be it.

What about cheering for Chads injury?

Has that healing come and gone?

I am OK with the idea of banning those fans from any NFL stadium for life. Should we include the Patriots brains trust in that?

Here's the deal... This dirtbag is saying he is sorry today but msybe he is just sorry he got caught out. If they are truly sorry they will hand over any and all information that they have gleaned from this illegal taping operation and they will also hand over the names of everyone involved.

I am sure you are completely OK with that right? Air out ALL of the dirty laundry and not just the pair of underpants with skid marks that your guys got caught out on.

EM I ain't buying any of Patriot reign's crap either here or at JI-this is the guy who admitted yesterday in a thread that he DID say he was proud of his coach on a Pats site-Tex's idea of justice is ALSO bullshiit IMO-they deserve every thing we can throw at them forever for being the a-holes they have been to us every day during their tainted run

Part of this whole deal is forcing them (Belichick and the Pats) to go through the motions of confessing their crimes in excruciating detail. A bit like the truth commission they had in South Africa. I can think no single thing that would be more humbling to that pompous prick than to force him to enumerate his sins before the Commissioner.

As a practical matter I think all involved should be put on one more strike and you are out for life warning.

I bet none of them would ever sail across the line again if the commissioner did that.

If they cheated last year against the Chargers they should be forced to admit that.

If there is film and data in the Pats posession they should be forced to hand that over.
