Thor99
The afternoon sportstalk guy here in Tampa was saying that there is a report that some of the defensive players had microphones in their helmets. Supposedly, this was to record the audibles. I haven't seen anything about this yet, but could it have led to the interference with the Jets QB radio that has been reported? The report I got was that they were running too many frequencies and when confronted had no good reason for it. If they were wiring the defense to either transmit info to them or to record stuff like audibles on the field, they would need to run different frequencies to each helmet, and you would probably need to have more then one helmet wired to allow for substitutions and adaquate coverage of the line for miccing. Wow, just wow. Of course this is speculation, but it is reported that there were issues with the pats running way more frequencies then needed.
