Ten minutes before his regular availability, Belichick issued a one-paragraph statement apologizing to his team and confirming that he has spoken to Goodell about an "interpretation" of league rules that ban videotaping of the opposing sideline. Kentucky Jet
F*** THAT...This better not get him off the hook. I absolutely agree with you! The bum should be fined; forfeit two high picks to us and be suspended for two games without pay.
Thai Jet
What gets me about this is that Beliprick NEVER DOES say WTF he's apologizing for. I can't wait till Friday when we'll all find out what the peneltys will be. I'd love to see BB get suspended for 4 games or so. If they do it to the players for cheating why not the coaches? shawn306
You guys are going to be very unhappy then when the edict comes down from the commisioner. The Pats are not going to have to forefit the game. They are not going to have forefit any picks to the Jets. What is probably going to happen is that the Pats will have to forefit two picks. One on day (Hopefully one of their firsts) and a second day pick. There will be a large fine (Not that big a deal). And probably a one game suspension for Bellicheat. (I would like to see two games). floridajet
It comes down to the commish either white washing it or giving true justice.
Alk
Gamesmanship is different from cheating. They outright cheated. So you wouldn't consider bringing in another's teams released players for the sole purpose of getting their playbooks cheating?
