serphnx
I don't think Turner can carry a full load. We are fine with TJ imo, we just need a better O-line, and to play a defense that doesn't know our play calls.

But if we got him I think him and Leon would have split carries pretty evenly. I would have loved that as a combo. It would have been the most drastic change of style in the league. Coles83
Trade Cotch and Coles with their tough work ethics..Moss has been a bit injury prone and his attitude could go either way..I wouldn't touch him..Any running back behind our line will not be a 4.5 ypc guy..Lucky to bust out 4.0 and even that's a bit too high. The Troll
Coles for Moss? No, because Moss would be useless with Chad as his QB. Cotch for Moss? See Coles. Jones for Turner?T hat's robbery. We'd have to throw in a pick. Mangini for Cowher? As of now, yes. Mangini hasn't shown me dick in terms of being a talent evaluator.
penningtonfan82
Cotch and Coles for Moss is a no, Turner is a yes, Mangini for Cowher? Possibly, I still believe in Mangini, so not yet.
Coles83
I suppose Cowhler's experience would be nice and dedication with being with one team for so long as he was.

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion simply b/c Thomas Jones can't do it. He couldn't do it in Chicago either with an excellent OL in that sissy conference. Sharrow
Too bad there was no way we were going to get Turner for what we got TJ for.
Thai Jet
Too bad there was no way we were going to get Turner for what we got TJ for. San Diego was asking for the moon for Turner during the off season. No way we were going to pony up that much for him. Then again, thinking back to what we gave up for D'Rob..... I agree, the people on this board sold me on Turner bigtime 6 yards a carry in 3 seperate seasons. That's not a fluke. That's a Monster truck that falls for 3 yards. gang_green03
Coles for Moss - No, Moss is useless without a QB who can go deep and I also don't trust him Cotch for Moss - No, see Coles and also Cotch is still very young Thomas Jones for Michael Turner - Yes, I think everyone would do this. Problem was that Chargers wanted way to much for him. If we coulda gave up a 2nd rounder for him instead of Jones we would've done it. Mangini for Cowher - No, I like Cowher but I think Mangini will be a better coach.

That's a Monster truck that falls for 3 yards. That 6ypc is not an accurate guage. He was spelling the best RB in the league and also has a great o-line in front of him. I hate when people point to that stat because its greatly inflated IMO. That being said I wanted him, just not for a 1st round pick.
Sperm Edwards
plus leon did it already. Yeah, I was going to write that. But I didn't want to get hit with "Leon had that future HOF'er Pete Kendall at LG" nonsense.
