lancemehl
Just for fun. And for the record I'm a KC supporter, just as a backup QB, which is EXACTLY the role he's playing right now(Go Kellen,Go....backup your a$$ off!) Here are Chad's first four starts ever, pretty amazing, I know, maybe there really IS something to sitting for two years.Maybe Herm......nah. comp att yards comp% TD INT Rating 21 34 281 61.8 0 1 75.7 22 29 237 75.9 2 1 108.0 24 29 324 82.8 1 0 124.7 19 26 183 73.1 2 1 101.9 (sorry if they look crappy,I tried to line them up) I'll leave those up so we can compare. I've enlarged and made blue the truly, out of this world, amazing stuff for a QB's first four starts ever. don't worry if he doesn't match up to those #'s in his first 3 starts. No QB ever has had a better first year. I could've gone on, but I got tired 3 of his next four starts,he had a QB rating of over 100. His 7th game EVER, he broke 120 again. I can't think of any NY sports figure to compare him to other than Mattingly. and finally,For the 50th time, though,, it doesn't matter what Kellen does, it all on our Defense. And after week 1, Nobody's dethroning Chad. That boot on the ankle TD drive sealed it. That's bloody sock Shilling, that Willis Reed, that's broken ankle Ewing, that Lancemehl and the cast, man. I have been dubbed a Chaninette, a Chadanista, and several other choice names, but I sure don't have the balls to put Chad's performance Sunday up there will Willis and Schilling. You do know that Willis and Schilling both won championships while Chad guided the Jets to 14 points and a blowout defeat, don't you?

Do you really think I would rank Chad's one legged TD drive with Curt Schilling's performance? If I worked for ESPN, Do you think I'd be in the board meeting putting together a "Greatest moments in Sports" Show, and say," True, the Kirk Gibson Homer was big, but I don't know, I'm leaning toward opening day 2007, That famous "Pennington Boot" drive that brought them within 2 scores" ? LMAO lighten up,please

You didn't have to think it was funny, just not serious. I don't need 10 pages of LOL's. It should simply be recognized as a form of sarcasm, a gift of those with that "sense" BTW, How about that third game ever starting? WOW!

Barton
So Chad's better than Kellen (by "A LOT", now eh?) because Kellen has not played a game yet? Gotcha. Dude, you give me a headache. Your posts are just borderline insane.

Your posts are just borderline insane. I can't believe all of these opinions about Clemens. Can we see him start at least one regular season game before we write him off? I guess the conventional wisdom is, since he played so well in the pre-season, and the pre-season doesn't mean anything, he must be bad.

Dont you get it?? ALL BACKUP QUARTERBACKS ARE BAD!! Just look how bad Brooks Bollinger was - Nuff said!! Kellen Clemens is the backup for a reason, he isnt good enough to be a starter in this league, ever!! GO CHAD!!

I thought about re-responding with another thought out post like I did earlier. Then I realized logic is used by nearly no one on the board--Chad and Kellen fans alike. Dude, you give me a headache. Your posts are just borderline insane. I'm gonna assume you mean me using my context clues, the sleuth that I am, because you used the word aspirin in another post with my name in it and you didn't quote anyone, so I believe that befalls on the thread starter. Only thing is, I NEVER in a post said Chad is better than Kellen. How could anyone make that claim yet? What I did do, however, is show Chad's first four starts and I'm willing to bet Kellen can't sniff them, no QB ever can in their first four. So, that's what made you fly off the handle. That 3rd game probably, because if you had the same hatred for Babe Ruth that you have for Chad and I posted his 1927 #'s, you'd need more than aspirin. I bet it's hard to see that 130 passer rating and 76% comp% Chad is standing on, right now(one legged). Now I didn't say "Chad is better than Kellen" but don't expect that type of s--t on Sunday, that Pennington type stuff. p.s. use advil or if we get to week 7 or 8 and Chad's leading the league is that silly QB rating thing(it's the thing that RATES QB's),I'll send you my Vicodin, I still have some from the root canal.
