Restore the integrity of the game FIRE THE CHEATER i think that this is starting to become a very real possibility...it does not affect the players or fans financially, it does not directly reward the jets, and it directly punishes the offender without punishing the team with a loss in game 1. this, combined with a fine and draft picks may be the outcome. we'll see. But i`m getting tired of hearing people cry about rewarding the JETS with Draft picks. .They broke the rules, had been warned in the past, not to break the rules again. Our QB substained a injury during a game they got caught cheating in , bad enough that he will miss at least 1 conf. game ,i`m sure the league believes if he was stealing the defensive signals ,he was trying on the offensive raio signals as well an advantage THAT VERY WELL MAY HAVE LED TO CHADs INJURY and if that is the case then the JETS do deserve multiple 1st rd picks from the PATS....imho Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Goodell better be carefull because if he is too soft and this proves to be the reason the Pats have been winning (ie: they fall off the face of the earth after this) his legacy may be ruined. There's no way he gets kicked out of the league for good for doing the same thing just about every team has done for years & years, just in a more-creative & more arrogant fashion. Ordinarily I would have said 4 games maximum if it was just the video. But mixing that in with messing with the Jets' radio signals to the QB should make that the minimum. Double offenses deserve double punishment. NE: loses a 4th rounder at most to the NYJ. NE: loses one of their two first-rounders this year (their original one, not the one acquired via trade). Not awarded to the NYJ; that's absurd. It was one friggin' game. NFL: Stipulates to NE (everyone else) that BB has used up all the league's first-offense chances for the whole league.
