lancemehl
Chad's QB rating Sunday. Second in the league behind Brady. And he did it With No cameras! Oh, and his comp % 76.2 2td's no INT's ,Vintage Chad, I think his job is safe. And he also absorbed 4 sacks and lord knows how many hurries and pressures and all that crap. Didn't we draft...?, screw it,broken record. We must have the most first rounders starting out of any team in the league, but anyway: Every post from here on should be about our Pathetic, pop-warner Garbage,CreamPuff Defense, and the fact that the O-Line better start opening holes. no more QB crap. Chad's the starter. Kellen needs to not throw interceptions. That's all. Be Servicable. Show us that rocket on a couple third downs, get us excited for the future. Then when Mr.Second in the league comes back. He plays. I don't know why we are so drawn to this QB thing. Chad was our best player Sunday.Revis was 2nd. BUT We cannot win unless the defense makes drastic changes this week and our Offensive line opens holes twice as big as last week. And, where is this Bulldozer FB Barnes? Did he have a jersey on Sunday?

But then given all these other parts of the team sucking, wouldn't you think you'd need a QB who can do more than just not-make-mistakes, particularly against a top defense? Someone who might be capable of a late comeback if we're down by a couple of scores? I mean, it's not like anyone expects Thomas Jones to rack up 150 yards on the ground (frankly I'd be surprised if he gets 1/3 of that). So where are the points supposed to come from? From the QB playing it safe? That's fine when the rest of your team around you takes care of business. Absent those things, you need to take chances b/c you're going to lose anyway & a QB capable of taking those chances without throwing punt-like rainbows when everyone knows you're in pass-only mode. It'll just be a slower death with a game-manager is all.

I believe that + a decent running game(that means blocking and running) + an better than average NFL defense can get you to a superbowl. Don't you?
