Alright i'm going to the Cowgirls Jets Thanksgiving game. Some guy at work told me Irving Texas (where the stadium is located) is a Dry town, meaning they don't sell beer or liquor. Does anyone know if that's true? And if so, am I allowed to atleast consume some friggin beer if I go to a different county in buy it?

Thank You.

Sorry to a Mod if they have to move this thread.... Unless that Mod is Smizzy.

They get around it by making join a club at the bars. It costs nothing. All you do is show your ID and they give you a membership card.

The last time I was there you could bring your booze in a cooler, but the cooler needed to sized fit through a window of sorts. No $hit. What a weird place -- our hotel was in a dry area so no bloodies in the AM unless you were prepared. Had the bathtub filled with ice and assorted beverages. I was the guest of NBC in one of the circle suites so my friends and I drained their booze and demolished every shrimp in sight -- ahhh, the good old days when I still made a beast of myself. The other things that endear Dallas to me... you can see where you want to go, but never quite get there; and those dead armadillos they use to designate left turn lanes (they can wreak havoc on a "fine" rented luxury car like my Town Car). The land where the family tree grows straight up! Good times.
