NIGHT STALKER
And no pun intended. This clown has no pull with the commissioner's office what so ever. I guarantee you if this incident had happened with Jerry Jones' Cowboys, Bellycheat would have received a suspension...especially since one of of Jerry's assistants gets hit with a 5 game suspension for HGH...you really think Jerry would have set tight with this fine the Pats got...no way. Woody, just sit back and collect your money and your plan to sock it the season ticket holders like myself with a PSL...

He is the invisible man and has done nothing to enhance the standing of the Jets as an organization in the NFL. Man, why is this franchise so cursed? DMaynard
You are right. But why blame just Johnson for no action? Although the Patriots were ACTUALLY CAUGHT DOING THIS AGAINST THE JETS, apparently there was no chance that the Jets would receive any compensation such as a forfeit or a pick. So it comes down to this. Goodell works for the 32 NFL owners and everyone knows Kraft has the most influence. All 31 owners should be outraged by this and demand more. Don't they care about the sanctity of the game? Kraft may be powerful, but he is not about to take on all 31 other owners backing Goodell.

Ok, but Kraft was very vocal about how is team is under attack because the are a good team blah, blah... But where was Johnson? Why not come out of his shell and show that he gives a crap about this team? In my opinion, his silence speaks volumes as to how much he cares. SouthernJet
He has pull. This time he got to hire Manigni instead of the NFLs first Eskimo coach.
#27TheDominator
I have met Woody Johnson and I will go on record as saying that he is NOT a dick. Maybe he is ineffectual as an owner and I am upset he didn't see to it that they spent up to the cap, but he's not a dick. I don't see why we sit around and rail against people for not doing exactly what we want. Almost anything said by Woody (or Teddy Bruschi) would be jumped upon by the media and fans. Taking the high road or making as little comment as necessary is probably the only way to go. We don't even know if Woody made a comment to Goodell. It seems like just players. They are competitors, but when it comes to things like this, the owners have to be on the same page for the good of the game and openly empower Goodall even more. That's the nature of the system...if people don't like the way people do things, they get called names...just wait until the Jets announce what PSL's are going to cost...your buddy Woody will be lucky to escape with just being called a "dick". BwanaZulia
The Jets should stay out of this, once it is a leugue issue, they should shut up or end up looking like a bunch of whiny bitches. BZ
