How long before the Jets defense makes a play?

Two games in, and the Jets have yet to show the ability to create a turnover or pressure the QB in any way, shape, or form... Not even a coverage sack..

Bryan Thomas is invisible

Sean Ellis is invisible

D-Rob invisible

Vilma invisible

Rhodes invisible

The only defender on this team that has stood out has been Revis..

this might sound like an excuse but it seems to me that the offensive difficulties are affecting the whole team. the Jets aren't winning the time of possession battle and that puts undue pressure on the defense.

that being said, Ellis had a couple big plays yesterday and the defense overall held together when it needed to... they gave the offense a chance to get back in it, that's all we can ask. the only defender i am worried about legitimately is Rhodes, who it seems is reading his press clippings and forgotten how to play football.

As for the turnovers and sacks, I have to believe those are coming...

0 TO's

0 Sack's

1 3 and out

Vs a horrible offense without their best player and with a garbage QB.

What are you talking about? The offense has at least moved the ball... The defense is the reason for the TOP loss.. They can't do anything right

My faith in Tangini is fading fast.

there is only so much you can do when you inherit the garbage that was left after 05. I don't like trading up for Harris, or Revis, although both seem to be good. It's painful watching our O-line, but that will be addresed this offseason (i hope).

He's still a good coach, he lost to one of the best teams (cheaters, but still) in the league, and lost to a top 5 defense with a second string QB.

I'd like to see another coach do better.
