drago
You guys are mostly Yankee fans. I realize it's a huge market, and there are a lot of fans of the Yanks, and people that hate them. Which in turn gives good ratings. Every time I go to ESPN, or MLB.com there is Jeter's or A-rod's mug staring back. At somepoint they have to cover other teams. I'd really like to see a lead story about how well Ben Sheets pitched, or how the Indians did in a particular series. I swear half the time its the Yankees/Red Sox, the other half its the rest of the MLB. It gets old.

They would both have the best record in the NL. Sheets is having a good year, but 12-5 with a 3.78 ERA is not exactly Cy Young worthy.

The Brewers are in a divisional race for the first time since i've been alive, yet they get no write-ups in a national media provider. I also realize the yankees would, more than likely, stomp the brewers in a playoff matchup (if they weren't in different leagues). I just want some freakin parity. Then again, MLB isn't too high on giving other teams a fair chance.

BTW, I think if the Brewers had not folded in the 2nd half you would get more press.. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/baseball/nl/brewers/2007-05-03-brewers-cover_N.htm The Brewers are getting an increased amount of coverage after their strong start. Pitcher Ben Sheets is high on the interview list. By Anne Ryan, USA TODAY
