That says it all! Where were you all season? If you had posted here all year you would have racked up at least 3000 posts a month....j/k

While it would be nice to see the Yankees come back from what many thought was in insurmountable deficit, it won't mean all that much in the grand scheme of things. Yanks and Sox are both in the playoffs. Go from there.

This is why the numbers that Carl was throwing out there mean zilch.

A simple 4 game Sox losing streak, coinciding with a Yanks 4 game winning streak and the lead is suddenly drop from 5.5 to 1.5.

Here is the latest on Homefield

Angels 90-62

Indians 90-62

Red Sox 90-63

Yankees 88-64

And for those Yankee fans who are just clamoring for a playoff matchup with Cleveland better take a good long hard look at that team. They are playing off the charts right now. They just buried the Tigers and for all intent and purposes ended their season.

That is not the same team that the Yanks went 6-0 against.

Playoffs are going to be very interesting.

Who ever the Yanks play will be a tough matchup. Can't worry about it.

wildcard or division doesn't really matter for the yankees. all that matters is avoiding the angels in the first round.

Does not matter. Bring them on. At this point, after we were all but given up for the dead at the end of May, to even be "sniffing" the Division Title this late in the season is a blessing. Making the playoffs is the key, and both the Yankees and Bosox are for all intent and purposes, in.
