lancemehl
After 2 games your QB would have a completion% over 70, a QB rating over 120, 4 TD's and 0 INT's record 1-1. any good?

LOL... I been a Chad supporter for years... And Im not surprised by those numbers... The Jets would be at 2-1 as of now if he played vs the Ravens Barton... Where are you? SoFlaJets
I think we've been barking up the wrong tree-it isn't ABOUT who should start at QB now, it should be who should be starting on defense-this is where we are having big big BIG problems-Eric Coleman should be benched as soon as Eric Smith is 100%...Hobson-I haven't even heard his name called. The DL is a wreck-Ellis is under-performing...we need help guys...Johnathon Vilma also has been going downhill since his rookie season
penningtonfan82
I've been backing Chad forever, no need for me to tell anyone here that. I never doubt Chad, he gets it done.
lancemehl
Ellis is under-performing... Well the whole D is because of this idiot Sutton's defense, but didyou see that sack by Ellis, that was Gastineau stuff.

I never doubt Chad, he gets it done. he's whatwe call in the sports world "A winner" Marshall fans got to see it, now NY City gets to see it. When you get a chance, ask Randy Moss about Chad. Wanna bet what he says?
Johnnybones
Pennington had a nice game. I'm content now knowing that KC will eventually grab the reigns, but until then let's see what Chad can do.

The Jets would be at 2-1 as of now if he played vs the Ravens Barton... Where are you? Going to have to stop you there. Just as was said Clemens would have easily won today, its IMPOSSIBLE to know if Chad could have/would have won against the Ravens. For all we know, he could have pulled a pre-season Vikings and thrown 2 pick-6's, and it been a complete blow-out. In the same sense, he COULD HAVE lead the team to a W. But you cant say they would be if he had played, because he simply didn't.

madmike1
And if you gave the defensive stats you'd expect the jets to be 0-3.
Johnnybones
It's obvious that you have to start Pennington until something drastic happens. Although, you can't help but think in the back of your mind that KC has a rocket and J Cotch is begging for a break out season. All he needs is that pistol back there. That being said, Pennington obviously deserves to keep the spotlight for at least the remainder of the year.
Arsis
The Jets need a defense, we have one of the worst in the league. We also need an o-line that can stay off the ground against a good D.
