Kentucky Jet
JETS NABBED FOR SPYING LAST YEAR? In this same vein, Jay Glazer of FOX reported on Sunday that there are rumors that the Pats busted the Jets in 2006 for the very same thing for which the Jets busted the Pats in 2007. Per Glazer, the Patriots nabbed the Jets at Gillette Stadium last year, but New England opted not to get the league involved. Instead, the Pats merely asked the Jets to stop it. Glazer also says that the league source "confirmed" the accusation. But the Jets deny it. G.M. Mike Tannenbaum told Glazer that there's "absolutely no truth to that whatsoever! Completely false!" (Okay, Mike! We get the point!) Either way, we can understand why the Patriots didn't turn the Jets in. After all, the Pats were doing the same damn thing, and weren't prepared to give up the practice (or potentially get themselves in trouble) by blowing the whistle on the Jets. And isn't it a little ironic that the Pats told the Jets to stop videotaping defensive signals when the Pats apparently were doing it themselves? Isn't that like telling a guest to take off his shoes at the front door of your house -- while you're in the process of traipsing around the shag with the remnants of the dog's dinner from the day before on your own? NIGHT STALKER
Pats are pissing into the wind trying unsuccessfully to deflect their cheating ways...it's comical to say the least! CHEATERS or for that matter, people that are guilty of something almost always are looking for an excuse to take the blame off of themselves. I seriously doubt the Patriots had anything to do with this story. I'm sure the last thing they want is for it to be drug out even another day. serphnx
Where there is smoke there is fire. "Everybody does it." "The Pats are just whining about it. When it happened to the Jets they didn't go reporting it to the press." "BB will never get another NFL job. He broke an unwritten rule." Of course now that the shoe is on the other foot, PFHypocrite is just going to grill the Jets. So obvious as always, but nonetheless it's pathetic. Kinda like how Herm handled his salary "in-house" and how Kendall handled his contract "in-house" too. In fact I wonder what qualifies as not "in-house" to you. It's certainly not keeping something to within your organization, that's for sure.
PatriotReign37
The Jets should be fined a 1st round pick. The next : insert best ever NFL players name @ this position.

You're telling us that the pats objected and then turned around and did the same thing to them the following season? I dont believe it happened, but if it is true, how hypocritical is that? Christos607
"Belichick, in his form-letter apology to the Patriots' organization and its fans, acknowledged his responsibility for the video scandal, but cast it as a misinterpretation of the rules rather than an attempt to gain unfair advantage over his team's opponents." This is great. Does this mean that Belichick is caught in a lie? Yes How do they accuse the Jets of this and then plead ignorance? I call BULLSH*T. How can a smart organization plead retardation when they are obviously so clever. This is just getting worse for Pats fans. A word of advice, Focus on your strengths.
