RunStuffer63
Do any of you get the feeling that the Jets defense is going to make Trent Edwards and Marshawn Lynch look like Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas? Also, is there any doubt Lee Evans breaks out of his season long slump next week??
Ghost
Our defense is horrible man, but I guarantee you we're going to bring some hard pressure for once.
lancemehl
Forgot to quote, but I agree totally run stuffer, great post and I think we can make some cash quick before the streak becomes known throughout the sports world. you know the 100 yards on the day against us. willis used to be twice, this year one, ronnie Brown twice a year, now Lynch. Used to be Dillion, now that 3-headed Maroney,Faulk,Morris get 200 twice a year. Then you got your Hey guys, seriously, (and I refuse to get labeled as a "doom and gloom" guy or anything.) 1.I think Chad's top shelf. Serious, Pro Bowl, he looks every bit of 02 so far (except seasoned and marinated. In other words, all 22 guys on the field KNOW he's good now, even the other D's rooks got told about him.) 2.Love the Jones/Leon attack ("Lightning flash",what was that?BOOOOM!THUNDER!) 3.NUUUUUGE!! I love getting to take a piss during the FG attempts. 4.Coles and Mayor Cotch are the best WR Tandem I could remember around here( I don't count Walker/Toon as a Tandem) 5.2007's Chris "The Butcher" Baker,"The candlestick maker"'s comin out PARTY! We have a lot to be happy about, but seriously, you know those sports gambling sites where you could bet on anything? Could you link one that let's you bet that Marshaun Lynch goes for 100 next week? It's gotta give, what? 20-1, he's never had one yet, I don't think. even 10-1. That is a lock of all locks, man. Please, I'll look around too, but,if you know one, I'll throw down $50 to win $500. I wish I was richer. That's a sure thing. The kid could run a little, I saw two highlights, I'm convinced, take out a loan. I saw him break a tackle in college last year. I guarantee, he goes for 100 yards against the NY Wack Exchange!

I expect a similar gameplan on defense to what they had against the Ravens, except edwards wont be Kyle Boller. now, Lynch MAY get his hundo, but you know they are going to be gearing up to stop the run and force Trent to beat them through the air. So, it may be closer than you think.
Alk
I think Losman getting hurt was the best thing for the Bills. The Bills weren't able to put a decent drive together until Edwards was put in the game.

snow_monkey
Would anybody here be surprised if Trent Edwards lit our D up? Do any of you get the feeling that the Jets defense is going to make Trent Edwards and Marshawn Lynch look like Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas? Also, is there any doubt Lee Evans breaks out of his season long slump next week?? Edwards couldn't light a candle, doused in gasoline, with a flamethrower. We'll be 2-2 after this game. And Evans? Yeah, he's fast. But maybe someone should tell him that he's suposed to catch balls too. Not just run. But yeah, Lynch will get his yards. And then some. will
But yeah, Lynch will get his yards. And then some. Yeah ... this is the year the Jets will make wholesale changes on defense and get better fits for the 3-4. In the meantime we will have to endure quite a few career rushing days (can Lynch catch a screen pass?). Still, I expect the Jets to pull this one out. timbok
1.the bills will not break out..they have no good qbs..lol 2.I'm sure mangini yelled at his defense..loud and clear..and made them run 100 laps... we will have a diff. defense this week

rick34125
the bills will definitely lean heavily on Lynch with Edwards at QB. Expect Lynch to have a big day. I'd also look for Edwards to turn the ball over a lot. JMO
SoFlaJets
I remember a game in '81 I think where the starting QB was hurt and all week the press was laughing about the back up QB from "little Milton College" who was going to get his first start against our Jets-that QB that started for the injured Jim Zorn was Dave Kreig who turned out to be a damn good player for many years-I'm always leery of young 1st timers after that day against us...oh yea Kreig's Seahawks beat us that day
shawn306
I really think the Jets can be walking into a hornets nest this weekend. The Bills are 0-3 and in dire need of a win and it is their first game at home since the Kevin Everett tragedy. The crowd is going to be jacked, the Bills are going to be jacked. The Jets BETTER bring their A game this Sunday.
Irish Jet
The Bills is never an easy away game. Sutton and Mangini should try and mix it up as much as possible and try and confuse the kid, this is his first start. Let him know the NFL is a huge step up. #27TheDominator
Mastermind defensive genius coaches are supposed to completely befuddle rookie qbs. Let's see if we have one.

When the Jets went on that great run in 1981 after starting 0-3-1 the only team to beat them were the Seahawks and they did it twice that year. SweetLee83
I really wouldnt be worried if I were you guys. We have 17 people injuried and not healthy right now, and 7 of them are out for the season. If McGee doesnt play again, then were down 3/4s of our secondary, and 2/3 of our linebackers including POZ our MLB and leading tackler. Were so depleated, its insane, now we start a rookie QB, who i like, but isnt ready yet, i just dont know if we'll win any games this year until some guys start coming back.
