David Barrett, with 22. With Barrett Ruud leading the league in this category, with 27, Barrett would be the league leader if he hadn't whiffed on so many tackle attempts.

The fact that a mediocre corner is our leading tackler is a terrible thing. Don't interpret this as praise-worthy for Barrett. It's more of a sign of our ineptitude as a team, particulary the front 7, to make plays.

Its actually more of a sign that teams pick on him and throw the ball his way more often...

The more a CB is thrown at and passes are completed the more tackles they will have.

That stat of 22 tackles says a lot, and it sure as hell aint a good thing.
