This was great footage of how Namath was not too liked with his parting ways.

Alot of vet's thought he was irresponsible drinkin too much & Gerry Philbin

told how Walt Michaels asked Jim Hudson {Namath's buddy} to make Joe

capt to force him to be more mature.Namath still thinks the opposite said Philbin

Philbin felt the Jets should have won the title in 1967 & that Joe cost him$$$

Maynard was hilarious talking about how cheap weeb was with contracts.

Don said "weeb told him dont discuss what your salary is with anyone"&

maynard replied "Im just as embarassed as you Coach with may pay"

must see for any jetfan!

If any of you guys are big into memorabilia and live in Florida (ft. meyers), you'd have to check out my uncles 1969 Jets helmet...signed by the entire team. He's got some crazy chit, i wouldn't have believed it had i not seen it for myself.

other stuff he has, is a glove signed by the iron horse and the babe, crazy stuff. i feel like i shoudl go in there, steal it, and retire.
