Xbox 360 Problems

My Xbox keeps freezing up for some reason, and I went on xbox's support site and followed the basic steps for dealing with this problem and nothing worked. Eventually I just walked away for 10 minutes, came back, turned it on and it worked fine. However, today I experienced the same freezing problem I had the other day. I'm debating whether or not to send it in for repair (its under warranty until December) but first I wanted to see if anyone on here had any ideas...

You don't want to get into this discussion with him.

Buy a PS3, since you cannot make up your mind about what YOU like in a game console.

The 360 has better games right now... but thats all it has going for it... and the PS3 will at the very least catch up in that category...

Haha, I was about to call tonight and I decided to turn it on just to make sure it was broken....

It worked fine.

It will happen again and start to happen more frequently... its a system failure... just call them up and get it fixed...

I'm assuming that also, but I'm going to wait until it happens again...

Maybe if I keep expecting it to happen and waiting by the phone for when it does will make it keep working, lol.

Do you think my problem could be an EA problem or is it a 360 problem?

Depends, does it only happen to you with that one game? Your problems sounds like one of the problems that microsoft has admitted to having. The best best is too call microsoft and have them fix it for you for free. you'll be without your system for like 2 weeks but chances are it'll be golden after that.

I guess I should consider having two more ones break as being "golden", no? This wouldn't be Ea's problem if you're getting any red lights, and it would only be Ea's fault if it a message came up saying the disc was unreadable or something.

I gotta agree with ecurb. The PS3 would definately look alot nicer sitting on my shelf. As long as all I do is watch movies with it.

What does it run at? 1080i?

If it were Sony's game it would be 1080p at 60fps... just sayin...

That is ok, i play mine through the most bad ass tv ever made, sony qualia 006, google it, converts everything for 1080p output. And if done correctly which this tv does, it is just the same as taking in 1080p native. But, i believe halo 3 DOES run at 1080p anyway.

Besides, it really doesn't matter, because even at 720p it would kick the ass of anything sony offers at 1080p.

The 360 runs at 1080p

Yeah, but then you need one of the new consoles with the HDMI as most TV's don't support 1080p off of Compsite or whatever the hell you call them. Although, it doesn't really matter too much to me as there are many games that run at 720p and look better than others at 1080p. But nothing on the 360 will ever match up to Gran Turismo's graphics.

P.S. Nice TV. (I'd never be able to fit that TV in my house lol)
