NJ
This afternoon, a rugged ace who holds lifetime records in the Cubs organization, threw his last pitches as a Cub. And they were the things dreams are made of. Asshat loser of the new millenium, Steve Trachsel, coughed up 5 runs in 4.1 innings and added to the sweet memories of his staggered tenure here as he helped the Cubs drop the season series (all games) to the Marlins. So long you dog ball licking mf'r. I wish you public sodomy by........... ok... I'm better now. But I do want to thank you for helping us down the stretch. You cant just go out and get anybody to come in and go 1 and 3 and give up 25 hits in 17 innings these days. But dont worry - your legacy will live for a long time at Wrigley. We will win many a world series before somebody gets tagged with 18 L's in a season. Farewell sh!tbag.

Bugg
Somebody had a negative social interaction with Steve Trachsel. or just sat through one too many of his nibbling, full count excruciating starts.
vanDoug
Well said John. And I left work early yesterday to go watch him do it. Cannot believe anybody though he was going to do something positive here. Adios.
faba
Getting rid of Trachsel is the one good pitching move made last off season by the Mets.
