Ghost
I said this now and I'll say it again, Eli Manning is a way better football player. Is he smarter ? No. But I'll take Manning over Pennington any day of the week.
124
Eli Manning. Younger, stronger arm, currently playing better and unlike Chad Pennington is improving each and every year.
Irish Jet
Pennington, really not even close. Eli is far far too inconsistent. He seems to always regress as the season goes on after amking strong starts. I'll take Kellen and Chad over Eli, especially Chad.

I have to say, this year Eli looks a lot more consistent though, I would still worry about it, but he doesn't look like the past 2 seasons. Still I'd take Chad. penningtonfan82
The real question should be would you rather have the Giants D or ours, because I'd rather have theirs.
BReal32
i'll definitely take Chad (for one more year anyway) over a QB who looks like a gawky 13 year old teenage girl. (i forgot where i read that line...)
raffyD
Right now? Both have their issues, albeit very different ones. Gotta go with Eli though. Yes, I'm losing faith fast this year.
Lady Jet
I'm OK if Mangini starts Clemons over Chad, but I will take Chad over Eli anyday of the week.
joiseyjet
Chads smarter but he`s just to limmited in what he can do as far as throwing the ball past 10 yards down field ,it makes things to easy on opposing defenses ,so for right now I`d have to take ELI. It kills me to say that ,but this was supposed to be our year and now it`s looking like we are gonna have a tough time going 8-8 ,I had us going 10-6 but that isn`t gonna happen losing to teams like Buffalo

SpartanJet
Eli by a landslide for me. That doesn't say very much because I don't really think much of Eli but he is able to make all the throws needed to be a NFL QB.

I think his brain is pretty good about making the right choices ,I`m just not so sure his arm is cappable of putting the ball where it needs to be at all times
Steveg
Eli has no leadership ability. His body language, temperment, and interaction with the players really stinks. That stuff is in-born - either you got it or you don't. The fact that he sounds like Forrest Gump doesn't help either.... Give me Chad..

Not to mention when he get pressure he looks like he drops a deuce in his undies, he gets rattled too easily and has absolutely no mobility. Get pressure on him and the INTs will come. .........never mind, we cant get pressure on a QB.

Still I'd take Chad. Eli gets bailed out a lot by his receivers, especially Plaxico. There are times he just heaves it up and you think there's no way anyone will catch it and Plaxico uses all of his 6'5" to go up and get it. There was one a couple of weeks ago that he looked like he punted the ball it went so high across the field that Shockey got his hands on but it fell incomplete. Chad would have gotten killed for a throw like that.

serphnx
lol it's kind of funny. Eli is missing all the intangibles and Chad is missing all the physical tools. They should be combined into one top NFL QB, named Eli Chadwick Penman
KSJets
Plaxico bails out eli?? are you kidding me?? how many passes went into burress' hands that he just flat out dropped?? Plaxico is so used to having to make acrobatic catches that they easy ones surprise him Seriously, he's great at making acrobatic catches. It's the simple catches he has problems with, and it's mainly because Eli's passes are so off target.
