Last week I joined up for free and they gave you the first week free. You basically pick a starting roster (1QB,2RB,2WE,1TE,1K,1DEF) and they accumulate points. Last week I finished 38th and 18th overall in the standings and didn't qualify for a money spot but I did win 12 game credits. This week I only had time to enter 2 rosters,I played 15 last week...This week I finished 89th in one and 2nd in the other. That's right! Team JetNation placed 2nd overall!!...Well tied for 2nd @ 220 but I win the tie breaker. 1st - 222 somebodys baby tonight 2nd(t) 220 JetNation(I win the ties breaker ) 2nd(t)220 shakopee magic 3rd FEDERAL 217 (His tie breaker Questions) How many passing touchdowns will Peyton Manning (IND) have against the Broncos (DEN)? final 3- 2 (Tie) 2. How many receiving yards will Donald Driver (GB) have against the Vikings (MIN)? final 58 - 123 ( 65 yards) 3. How many rushing yards will LaMont Jordan (OAK) have against the Dolphins (MIA)? final 74 - 87 (Mine) 1. How many passing touchdowns will Peyton Manning (IND) have against the Broncos (DEN)? final 3 -2 (Tie) 2. You get 4 free game credits when you join...I turned those into 12 credits last week and turned 2 of those into 1K and 12 more credits. It cost 1 game credit ($5) to play a roster. You simply have to choose a roster from the Early,Late or ALL games...1Qb,2RB,2WR,1,TE,1K,1DEF....then answer 8 questions about the matchups...you get points for the qestions too...that how I took 3rd even though we tied. I make my lineup this week and I made a mistake....I didn't mean to pick Josh Brown PK from SEA...I wanted to pick Kris Brown from TEX...but it was late and I saw brown and clicked it. That mistake cost me 5K this week. I finished 11th without any points from the kicker spot...1 spot out of a money spot(1pt out of 10th)....I can't remember the last time I could put a price tag on a mistake I made...that one cost me $ 5,000 I need a drink & a hug...****@!!! Hope to see you all next year. **************** Due to a number or circumstances we will not be offering our weekly contests for the remainder of this year. First and foremost we were not able to attract enough paying players to continue to offer our $25,000 weekly payouts beyond NFL Week #13. Without assurances that payouts beyond Week #13 could be covered we had intended to reformulate the game to allow players to continue to play the contests for the rest of the year for free (but without cash payouts), however the technical demands needed to make those changes were simply too great for only 3 remaining weekends. We know that many of you really enjoyed our contest format and we fully intend to relaunch Turf War for next year's football season. In the interim all player's accounts will remain in tact with unused game credits being carried forward to next year. All game credits that were purchased after Sunday December 2nd have been fully refunded. For all previous winners that have submitted winner verification forms within the past couple weeks, we will be contacting each of you by email to let you know when you can expect to receive your winnings. We've worked incredibly hard to bring you Turf War and are sincerely disappointed that we've had to end the contest prematurely this year. We appreciate all the messages of support we've received over the past several weeks and are looking forward to bringing you a bigger and better Turf War contest next year.
