Maybe it's a NJ thing. I just grew up with it. Waiting on line for tickets (Born In The USA tour) in the 80's. They wouldn't announce what day they were going on sale (damn you WNEW) but we went every morning at 4am. I think the put them on sale on Friday. At least the dead didnt pontificate about politics on the stage. ....and it's especially disturbing to republicans-last time I talked to Bruce I talked politics with him and thanked him for what he tried to do for John Kerry in 2004.As a songwriter though, I find it a lousy subject to write about on a couple of different levels. For one thing there's an old axiom that says it's impolite to talk politics and religion in a bar and two, whatever you want to say turns out to be old news by the time you play it anyway.But hey, I ain't Bruce...
