So much for the Broncos work horse running back. What a putz is right. I know when he was with the Bills they were always saying how they had to "dummy down" the offensive playbook for him. I guess he's not the brightest bulb on the tree.

Don't think a RB like that requires much in the brains department.

1. Take ball from qb.

2. Run until you hit something.

3. Keep running.

I just don't understand it. The NFL will pay you millions of dollars to play a game and all you have to do is not smoke pot. Yet, these guys still do it. What the F is wrong with them? Now, personally I think smoking pot is just as bad as drinking alcohol. It's a huge waste of tax payer's money and law enforcements time to arrest and prosecute pot smokers.

HENRY SUING TO BLOCK SUSPENSION

In a novel legal strategy that, for now, isn't completely clear, Broncos running back Travis Henry has been fighting in court since September 20 to keep the NFL from using against him a urine sample that presumably tested positive for marijuana.

Per Newsday, Henry sought a restraining order last month in Suffolk County, New York to prevent the NFL from using the specimen against him.

The skirmish also has spawned a federal court action -- possibly filed by the NFL to compel Henry to rely upon the arbitration procedures set forth in the collective bargaining agreement.

Absent further details, the effort seems to be a proactive Hail Mary pass from Henry aimed at preventing the league from taking the inevitable step of suspending him. And with nine mouths to feed and no other obvious marketable skills, we can't say we blame him for trying

I always liked how he plays; damn shame he's got nothing upstairs. He got a great chance to get his career back on track in Denver, and this is what he does with it.

Then again, it could work out... just give him the ball and tell him there's brownies in the endzone.

I feel bad for football players. I'm not usually someone to say that, about anyone, because it is usually their own fault, and while it is Henry's fault, but what is truly the big damn deal? When did the NFL come to be the moral masters of the universe? This league does not have a strong steroid policy, because the players most jacked up, *Shawne Merriman* are supported and glorified, but the NFL stays on top, because when their career falters, that is when they strike and wave the banner of morality. Sure, I understand that the NFL is his employer, I have never smoked marajuana, and never intend to, and it is his fault, but there is another overarching problem, the NFL's hypocrisy and oppurtunism, and in the end, it is all to create news, to keep everyone that tunes into SportsCenter and posts on forums, buys jerseys and keeps coming back to games with the fact that owners are doing their best to only cater to the rich and/or celebrities. If this was Peyton Manning, hypothetically, they would keep it for later on. Look what the MLB and the media is doing, only releasing the names of former players, has beens and guys that just plain suck, but I am sure that there are larger names at stake on those lists, and I just want to smash a brick against my head over these wavers of false morality. Can I change it? Most likely not. It's business, capitalism, and the right of the NFL and any other business to be oppurtunistic or turn the blind eye, but it just pisses me off. Thank you, and return to the normal conversation.
