4HCrew
ok this has been said many times before but with the blitz happy Giants wouldn't Barnes be valuable in the backfield with Jones?
NIGHT STALKER
ok this has been said many times before but with the blitz happy Giants wouldn't Barnes be valuable in the backfield with Jones? To be honest, I thought this option would have been used at the start of the season seeing how questionable our O line is. Not only for protection for Chad, but to help with the run blocking. 124
It seems Mangini has used a different fullback in each game. Should be interesting to see if he is inactive or not on Sunday.
snow_monkey
I always liked what a good blocking fullback brings to a team, and god knows we could use some help in that department. Unfortunatly, this coaching staff seems to see very little value in that position.
#27TheDominator
To be honest, I thought this option would have been used at the start of the season seeing how questionable our O line is. Not only for protection for Chad, but to help with the run blocking. Ryan and Kowalewski (sp?) are both primarily blockers. I believe both were active for the Bills game. I don't think they can activate all three. I don't think there's a huge difference between them, but I'd rather see Barnes in the running game. Kowalewski and Ryan are both from upstate NY, so the coaches may have been throwing them a bone keeping them active.
faba
All the reports I read on Barnes in training camp were positive so I can not undersatnd also why they have not tried to use him more for his blocking skills.

Are the Giants really blitz happy? I didn't watch the game, but the clips I saw were of Osi going aroung Justice like he was a statue. I didn't see too many blitzes in the highlights. The Jets do a good job of having the back chip the DE on their way out for the swing pass. Even when it's a little dude like Leon that makes a big difference because it slows them down and lets the OT maintain contact.
BUM-KNEE
Barnes has been dinged up a little, maybe its one of those nagging injuries that wont go away. He needs to be out there.

Maybe Jetcane was too busy watching MILF's and just made up his positive reports on Barnes.
NIGHT STALKER
On second thought, maybe there's a reason why this guy has been on several teams in his short career...nah, I got some flack for stating that when we signed him.
