As a fan, I'll take CC, not Carmona thanks. I don't want Papelbon either, don't need him. Joba to Rivera still works for me, don't need Holiday, he's good but we already have Shelley Duncan/Giambi DH for 2008, one is young and fresh and the other is on a no trade clause. That would be the only place I'd put him.

That is why your team continues to come-up short.

There is a reason that nearly a billion dollars in salary is 3-12 in their last 15 post season games. A poorly constructed team.

Of course, you would take CC a player that has had weight problems over a young up and comer. Carmona was crushed in the reliever role as a rookie, comes back and rebounds when he could have been ruined.

Rivera is the greatest no doubt, but he has shown more chinks in his armor the last few seasons. Paps is one of the next best things. Joba has done very little yet and nothing in a closing role. Hell, he let bugs intefere with him.

Duncan and Giambi suck. Holliday, who benefits from playing in Colorado has at least done something, but you can keep that .236 hitter and 74 career at bats.

LOL...come on PF. A Red Sox fan critiquing the Yanks? Are you kidding me...LOL. Damn, I just hope as a Jets fan I don't fall into that catagory when we win a SB.

You would think the Red Sox have won 26 WS titles the way some of you guys think...one title guys in 80 something years...get over it.

I just don't like Carmona, I don't care how old he is, Giambi does suck, never said he didn't, but there isn't a way to get rid of him, I think Duncan is gonna be a good player. As far as I'm concerned with pitching, I would take Joba as a reliever still, bugs and all, Phil Hughes and Ian Kennedy over Carmona any day, because those 2 will become some great pitchers in the near future. We don't need Carmona, but we could use Sabathia over Mussina, and that would be a nice rotation. Pettitte, Sabathia, Wang, Hughes and Kennedy.

I know you're skinny, but I didn't know that Stick Michael was a Red Sox/Pats fan.

History has shown that when Heir shickelgruber stays out of the way the Yankees are successful. it happened in the early 90's when he got put on double secret probation, and you (Stick Michael) ran the team.

Thanks for the quick synopsis on how to properly run a team, Stick.

I have been saying that for the last few years.

I am just pointing out the typical Yankee blind homerism.
