Matt39
Mussina just helped answer that question. Wang starts -- gonna need to score a lot of runs to win. Mussina starts -- gonna need to score a lot of runs to win. I took a lot of heat the other day for saying Wang was not a # 1. 19 wins = a by product of a team that scores 6 runs per game. That covers a lot of warts. I am NOT pinning this all on Wang. The Yankees are capable of coming back. Pitching wins Championships though. That is the bigger issue right now. We still cant get big hits, either.
Maxman
We're done What a shame I am not giving up yet. They could come back. They have to find a way to do what Hughes did yesterday and silence the bats for a few innings.

Maxman
I would pinch hit Giambi here. They need offense at this point and will have to sacrifice defense.

Maxman
Sorry about that crazy post 9 times --- not sure what happened. I have #90 looking into it though. Bob
I'm pissed. What a weak showing. Gutless, gutless baseball. I'm extra pissed because my kids gave me a Yankees necktie for my birthday and I was looking forward to wearing it to work tomorrow. Unless something remarkable happens, I'll be so pissed, I won't be able to make myself wear it until spring. Screw you, Yankees. Your attitude reminds me of the ****ing Jets. ***I reserve the right to recant this post and wear my necktie if the Yanks miraculously pull off the comeback. Yeah that is why they have to score pretty soon. Byrd doesn't have to pitch much longer.
BP
The Yankees have to cut their swings down against this junk ball pitcher, he's got them off balance. stop trying to hit 600ft home runs, all we need is some ****ing base hits damnit!

Maxman
Giambi better pinch hit for Minky next inning (if they are able to get that far in the order). Defense isn't as much of an issue when nobody is hitting.
