Do you trust the front office more when they are making draft picks or signing f.a.'s

Right now it seems that the draft picks we have chosen are doing a little better then the f.a's we've been bringing in. I'm not sure if it's because they won't shell out some dough for them or not. But looking at some of the big names of late that have moved to new teams, other then Moss, most of them haven't been that great. Do you think we continue to build our O line through the draft or would you go D line? Same question with free agents.

No question, the Jets need to rebuild through the draft. They have too many holes to fill.

I think the Jets obviously did better this year in the draft than in FA but Coleman seems to be a really good DE. The rest of the FA class has been invisible (or worse).

well leon has done a great job, and most of the starters are from the past two drafts. I think the only f.a. that is starting is bowens from last years f.a. class.

Kenyon Coleman is the starter, not Bowens. He took over for last year's FA disaster, Kimo. I guess you could say that Clarke is starting too, but nothing to be proud about there. They seem to have targeted their picks. They may not want to get "good" FAs because they are too far from being good and they want to keep the lockerroom mood manageable for the young coach. Hopefully, they'll be willing to pull the trigger on a few more legit FAs and not put all their eggs into one (or two) basket in the draft by trading all those picks.

I hope Revis turns out to be greta. But the stupidity of 2 for 1 trades haunts this franchise. It's how they got Lam Jones instead of Jerry Rice. it's how they wound up with Robertson and Nugent and now Revis instead of 2 solid bodies. And again, NO BOAR HUNTERS.There are just too many holes for that trade to have been justified, unless Revis becomes an All Pro. I hope itdoes happen, but so far, no.

One more thing-enough trying to win the Eagles Cap Management Trophy as opposed to football games. There had to be a way to accomodate Kendall without it getting so ugly, because right now that $10 million of cap room is pretty hollow. It seems egoes and personalities took precedent over success, and that's stupid in any line of work. Sometimes success means having to work with a-holes you don't like, and it takes time and experience to learn this. Kendall seems to be such a case.

Bingo. Only one quibble, I think they only have $9M in cap space now. They gave $1M to Moore.
