There were so many Eagles fans at the game today it was sickening. All the supposedly loyal Jets fans have bailed already and are dumping their tix to the opposing fans. When the Eagles made any good plays to day, the place went nuts and it will be even worse when Pittsburgh comes to town. No wonder they didn't acknowledge "the best fans in the league" today. The Jets apathetic ticket holding fan base sucks compared to most other teams around the league.

Vs Pittsburgh, The Meadowland will be painted yellow.

It might as well be Heinz Field for them!!!

I hope it is....

Maybe then Mangini and co. will realize that this is not NE and like BB did there, he has to earn the fans respect here.

If he keeps up his stubbornness with Chad he may not make it to the end of the year.

He came in and promised a rebuilding franchise, now we're 1-5 and I see no real signs of this team going through any significant changes (i.e. QB, LB's etc....)

The seasons now officially lost.... Get KC in and at least start the rebuilding process you promised Eric.

the team has no heart. the coach is too stubborn to admit he was wrong. and the jets are one of the five worst teams in the leaugue and bring no excitement to the game whatsoever......yeah, its the fans fault.

It goes waay beyond today or this year for that matter. The Jets game day fans seem to bail out early. I watch almost all the Bills games and I REALLY hate to say it but their game day fans put ours to shame.

This is the best fanbase in the country. No other franchise with this type of track record would ever sellout a stadium, and have this many fans talk about it. No, the fans aren't at fault. The franchise is at fault. If Mangini put Clemens in from week 2 on fans wouldn't be selling tickets. This is how you make your voice heard, the dumb franchise doesn't want to put out a better product? It wants to play in a stadium named after another team? Okay then, fans will just check out until you do something about it. Take notice Woody, New Yorkers are not stupid. Your head coach might be, but we aren't.

Mobs of people always make the best decisions. Your Football knowlege is far superior to Mangini. You are definitly not a dumb New Yorker at all. Clemens starting in game two is obviously what should have happened and is not in anyway way your opinion because you're just dissapointed by your own false expectations for our team. Expectations built upon your vast and expert knowledge and experience building a championship team. I mean you probably played high school ball right. Maybe started on the Varsity team. Heck who does Mangini think he is. You know. I mean whatl has he ever won? Geeze when are we going to get a better coach. Thats all we need, just a beter coach, that will fix it.

Well not to get too into this, but what championship teams exactly has Mangini built? I mean you can't do unless you've already done right, that's your argument?

What makes you qualified to have an opinion on something over me? Yes I played high school ball, and I was a pretty good QB. Do we have to compare our records and stats before one of us is allowed an opinion now? How can you have an opinion if it turns out I have more experience than you? We should just shut down JN altogether, how dare anyone have an opinion on the team they watch without having built championship teams? I mean you do understand the idiocy of your stance right? If I can't comment because I'm not Mangini, then you can't either! I'm sorry but you can't escape that, it's your own logic. Your opinion that you should defer to Mangini is itself an opinion.

Where did I say that the Jets crappy performance is the fans fault? I am saying that while there is a dedicated hard core fan base (I include myself and a number of other people here) that show up at the games through thick and thin and the rest are a bunch of fickle a$$ holes that bail at the first sign of adversity. I've been a season ticket holder for over 20 years and there are other fan bases that put the Jets fans to shame with their dedication.

I am a season ticket holder. My tickets including the parking fee costs about $3000.The pre-season tickets im forced to take never get used putting me $600 in the hole. There are games during the season I cannot attend so I should also let these tickets go unused adding to the $600 im already out. I try to sell the tickets to Jets fans first.........

but in case you havent noticed WE suck so the sell is a hard one.The Jets fans that do inquire want the tickets for less than face value. Opposing teams fans are the only ones who want the tickets and are willing to the pay the price for them.

The New York Jets im sure will increase ticket and parking prices for the 2008 season.Regardless if we finish 1-15 or not.

I am a season ticket holder and have been for over 20 years. I have poured more money into an inferior product than I care to remember. I have all the same complaints about the costs, pre-season tix and annual increases. Everybody has their own set of circumstances obviously, but nobody can tell me that all those so called loyal Jets fans had other obligations yesterday. I just see a lack of passion when everyone bails and sells their tickets to opposing fans. It was almost like a road game yesterday and that is a disgrace IMO. It just smells of bandwagon-ism. I may be foolish and I don't want to come off as superfan, but I will be there rooting like hell for my team, no matter how crappy they are.

The Eagles I presume were such a big draw because of the close proximity and all the Eagle fans in the area.Other teams that draw large crowds at the Meadowlands--Cowboys,Raiders,Steelers,Dolphins Its a fact of life.

Ticket agencies have alot more tickets than the New York Jets want you to realize.I have been putting in for a ticket upgrade for 15 years to no avail. A friend of mine who works for a very large ticket broker in the area, told me I would be sick if I saw the number of tickets and the locations for sale through agencies.

The question should be how do they get them some sections almost the entire section.Dont blame Jets season ticket holders for all the opposing teams fans in attendance, blame the New York Jets.

There were plenty of Eagles fans there but if you thought the 10,000 or so Eagle fans in attendance were a lot, just wait for Pittsburgh if we go into that game at 2-7 or 1-8 with Chad Pennington still starting.

20-30,000 Steeler fans

35-45,000 Jets fans

10,000 Red & Blue seats

the worst part was JETS fans cheering when we were on offense inside the 10 on the last drive. How ****!ng stupid are our fans they dont even know to shut up on offense.

IF we were the best fanbase, why would people continue to buy tickets to a team they are unhappy with? Woody makes the same amount of money if you're there or some eagle jerkoff... heck, they'll make more off concessions from visitng fans since its a special trip for them. For me its just another sunday.

The Jet fanbase sucks. There are lots of people who want to say they are jets fans, but they arent. They dont live and die with this team like they do with the Yankees or Rangers....

Its great we sell out, but our fans suck. and so does our QB. and so does our coaches this year.
