Based on Max's Karate Kid thread, what movies made you cry? Only 2 in recent memory come to mind

Big Fish - The end when his Dad dies and he says "Everyone was there, and I mean everyone"

Return of the King - When the Hobbits bow to Aragon and he says "You my friends bow to no one. It is we that bow to you"

Rocky - when Rocky went all 15 rounds and proved he could do it.

Rocky II -- when Adrian gets out of the coma and says just win Rock.

Rocky III - when Mickey dies.

Rocky IV - when Apollo died and again when Rocky beat Drago and gave his speech. If I can change, and you can change...Also when Rocky had the flashback (No Easy Way out is playing, very emotional).

Rocky V - when Tommy Gunn came to Rocky's house with his new manager and disrespected him.

Rocky Balboa - Opening scene at Adrian's grave.

Over The Top - When you realized that Stallone had been a good father all these years and the mean grand father was hiding all the birthday cards and letters.

Stop or My Mom Will Shoot - About 5 minutes in when I realized I was going to have to admit that Stallone made a crappy movie. Actually I thought Stallone was fine in this one but Estelle Getty obviously just mailed this one in. She was in it for the check and it showed.

You know what movie gets me? Seriously. I think it was called Without A Trace. I know that is a show but I think that was the name of the movie. Judd Hursch is a cop and this boy is kidnapped from NY. They find him in Conn. When he gets returned home they give him this police escort.

The Mom is walking back to her apt as the cops pull up. They come running down the street and they run towards each other. I have to fight them back everytime.

You kidding me?!! I have that on tape. I loved that movie. Yes, that gets me every friggin' time.

The part that gets me is how Judd's character is so wrapped up in the case and can't let it go unsolved. The day he is supposed to be with his own son, instead he puts him in the car and they go to Conn. to find the boy on a tip from some loon. And then the kidnapped boy appears at the top of the stairs...Ugh. Then they are driving back home with the two boys in the front seat with the police escort.

Loved that movie and that last scene when they finally see each other in the street was heart-wrenching. :1cry:

Exactly.

Maybe we can get together and watch it sometime. You can hold me during the finale. Nobody else gets me. JUST HOLD ME -- I need to cry some more.

\:D/

I am serious about that movie. That ending is TOO much.

It's from 1983, I was 11 yrs. old ha ha. I made my dad tape it off of HBO. Horrible quality, but I will watch it anytime.
