haggis
Cheers, Smizzy! Congrats to all Red Sox fans that fight in the trenches here at JN. The champagne is tasting sweet right now. A different feel from '04, but still so good.

Thor99
The whole series was like Max's wife. Anticlimactic. The whole time I felt that this was no big deal, yet I found myself jumping up and down after that last out.

PFSIKH
Props to Byung Hyung Okajima and Byung Huyng Gagne for their contributions. When did GAG-ne pitch? He tried to help the Yanks win the division by handing them a half dozen games, but in the end it was not enough for them to even get by the Indians. You should send thank you cards to the Indians. Enjoy your 7th championship . I've been lucky enough to see my team win 6. You could hope to be so fortunate. It is all gravy when considering it was not even known if we would win one in our lifetime. Too many never experienced it.
AFJF
Congrats the to BoSox. As much as I hate the team I've met one or two halfway decent Sox fans in my day and there are a couple on this board who I think deserve it. Now go sign A-Rod Theo. Maxman
2 times in 4 years, that is impressive. Francona is very unerrated at this point in time. They overcame a lot to get it done. He has done a very good job with that team. Congratulations Sox fans. Hope you enjoy it. But let me remind you this is a football site, so let's keep the baseball talk to a minimum. Ubless of course you like hte Patriots, then just keep talking about hte Sox. As scary as it is, that is less painful!
NIGHT STALKER
Congrats to you Red Sox fans...I have to be honest, I never thought they would ever win another WS in your lifetime. You guys earned it...and that's what it's all about it...

CrazyCarl40
Sox fans and players do not even know what that is. Sadly. It is fairly apparent that you don't either. In fact your sweeping generalizations are quite crude and inconsiderate. Actually, that might be the exact opposite of class. I'll have to get the dictionary out and check, because I guess I don't know what it is.

mbn007
Congrats to the Boston Red Sox, and to all their fans here at JN. You guys are on top of the Baseball world right now, and you deserve it. Solid all over, pitching, hitting, and fielding. Not getting much time to hang out here like I used to. Work related issues. Also, I am in the midst of the best investment opportunity I ever made. I am trouncing the stock market. Takes almost all my free time. I hope to be back soon, on a more regular basis.

Garb
Thank Gawd they swept. Jeez, I was afraid it would go 7 games and I'd have to keep putting up with this constant Red Sox garbage I am bombarded with daily. After tomorrow's duck boat "rolling" rally (which ends a mere 5-10 minute walk from my office) it will be all Pats all the time with a healthy sprinkling of Celtics. Thank goodness! anskyruben
Dude, it's only a ****ing game. You are completely insane. Negatory. I am a FAN, which is short for Fanatic. It's my passion. I got kicked out of Qualcomm once during Jets Charger game for pounding some moron into his seat who kept yelling in my ear that NY sucked. I was also escorted out Edison Field in Anaheim 3 times for getting in some Angel fan's face. In Ny , I got escorted out of right field, for riding Rickey Henderson after he dropped a fly ball when he played for the Yankees. I am a life long Yankee fan. I have been through the good and bad. There is nothing i hate more than a bandwagon fan. Anytime I see a person wearing NY cap, I ask them where they are from. If they aren't from the Tri state area, I give them a piece of my mind. That's just me. Call me crazy if you want.
