Put my name next to pick #18 too, don't forget.

I ALWAYS take the Pats in these things, but Minnesota is a team I follow closely and it'll be a lot more fun having those two picks....

Are we doing trades?

If so I recommend that we post the Bizland chart here so people can do them edumacated like.

Actually, scratch that. I just realized trades are unfair to people who can't get to the computer alot. We'll just go straight up. Sorry, dudes.

Oh and lemme just note what I did on "day one" of last years mock (on another Jets board) as Minnesota....

1st rd, #19- CB DeAngelo Hall (went #8 overall)

2nd rd, #50- DT Marcus Tubbs (went #23 overall)

3rd rd, #82- LB Daryl Smith (went #39 overall)

This year I expect to do better.

I think that works well.

One idea: what if we allowed no trades after the start of the draft, but allowed a few days trading period before the start of the draft?

That way those who want to try and move up can, those who want to try and move down can.

One piece of advice if so: picks only. Including players is unrealistic as it doesn't consider cap ramifications.

Oh hell, we should probably just do it straight up.

That's what I was thinking. I just KNOW someone is going to show up the day of the draft and be like "How the hell do the Pats have the #1 overall pick!??!? This sucks!!!!"

TS, give me KC and Denver

With Hammer leaving JI for a while, I guess I'll drop out of that mock

Me too. I don't go to alot of message boards and have nothing bad to say about any other, but i'm quite content just coming to this one and my Steelers board. That OK with you, Ham?
