Ten
NFL returning to UK The National Football League is coming back across the pond. After playing a highly-successful game in London last October, the NFL announced today it will return to the United Kingdom for a competitive game in 2008 as part of the league
joiseyjet
Sweet. Here's hoping I can get tickets for this years game. I am praying they don`t made it the Seahawks Jet game .Hey they stuck us on Christmas night 2 years ago ,thanksgiving last year ,we are a NY market they won`t care if we only won 4 games last year ,it will draw & the tv market will love it cause it will be a big draw ... I am hoping they stick the NE -CHEAT-TAHS there against a non-division team...
Irish Jet
LOL, I'd love if it was the Jets for obvious reasons. I will definetly go if the fixture is halfway interesting. (I nearly cried when I found it was the Dolphins last year)

lawngnome o-line
Well, with the parking arrangements at the Meadowlands....I think it would be easier to do UK than NJ

That's good timing, the Jets will still be mathematically alive for a wildcard spot.
bitonti
remember folks, whatever team is the home team in UK game gives up one of their own home games on a volunteer basis. for the Fish, that's no big deal but for a team like the jets that sells out every game it's a lot of lost revenue. JonEJet
Jags maybe? Falcons maybe? Cardinals maybe?
bitonti
Jags maybe? Falcons maybe? Cardinals maybe? also note that only east time zone teams were considered for last year's London game. the league doesn't want to have teams flying across the country and then across the pond. bitonti
it won't be a west coast team the Jags actually sounds perfect - they pull that ridiculous black tarp over the seats every year to avoid tv blackouts -
faba
My guess is they have to send one high profile team over there to generate some interest.

124
I hope it is one of the Jets' West Coast games. ****, if they're going to make them travel long distances four times in 2008, make one of those four a cool trip to another country.

Panzer Division Marduk
Like Bitonti pointed out, I highly doubt a West Coast team will be involved. Why not the Raiders game? They've always had a high profile in the UK, haven't they? (Besides, Fireman Ed would feel a lot safer if he went )
124
Like Bitonti pointed out, I highly doubt a West Coast team will be involved. The NFL's plan is to use all 32 NFL teams. I guess they'll be moving the WC teams to stadiums in the Mid west or East coast lately then? They have to use them eventually. Use the Raiders, a high profile team. They could also use the West teams for games in Asia, though.
