Free-agent pass rusher Peter Boulware visited the Seattle Seahawks more than a month ago.

This week, the Seahawks will come to him.

The team plans to watch Boulware work out Thursday. The session is designed to allay injury concerns that have left the former Pro Bowl linebacker unemployed since May.

Boulware is set to work out in Tallahassee, Fla., where he attended Florida State University. The Seahawks plan to attend, although president Tim Ruskell was not expected to make the trip.

Boulware has not played since suffering a knee injury during a Dec. 21, 2003 game between his Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns. A toe injury has also slowed him.

Players regularly return from serious knee operations, but Boulware faces a more difficult comeback than most. The

BOULWARE = OVERRATED

He's a good player don't get me wrong, but he's not worth mortgaging the farm on

The Ravens have had more success WITHOUT Boulware than WITH him, it seems. So who in their right mind would overpay him so close to training camp?

Sorry, I should have said "recently", as in, the last 2-3 seasons.

Ok then. But the ravens were a far better team when they had a healthy Peter Boulware.

Depending on how much this guy wants, I'd love to have him starting at SSLB over Hobson and Brown.

Prove it.

Sure, but not for the price he's asking for. Pass.

I already did prove it! :roll:

HELLO 2000 Ravens SUPERBOWL CHAMPS

If you wanna go compare wins with Boulware playing to wins with Boulware not playing per season go right ahead, but I'm not wasting time for you just so I can prove a point that is obvious.

I'd give Abraham for Boulware if he was still on a team, but he's not, so that means we'd have to fork out a sh*t load of $ and the combo of Hobson / Brown isn't as bad as I think some see it.

Don't forget about the darkhorse McClover, either. I'm just glad we have depth at the position. We don't need THREE studs at LB. Two of them and some quality depth keeps us set at LB for the longterm, which is nice.
