Chad Pennington

Agree with Coles and Vilma.

Pennington IMO has better then a 50-50 chance of being with the team.

2 reasons

1) Clemens just didn't light it up last season. I'm not saying he is a bust, I like the kid and hope he comes in next year, behind a new OL and lights it up big time.

2) There are a lot of decent teams out there that badly need a starting quality NFL QB. Like him or not, Pennington has proven he is one, and can get a team to the playoffs. Nobodyin the draft looks very good. Limited # of FA QB who can.

The Jets have shown in the past they will not let players just walk away because they want to. Nor should they.

I believe they have placed a high value on Pennington. Late first early send round. If they don't get it they will keep him. He is worth at least that to the Jets.

I don't think they are real high on turning the franchise, and there jobs over to an unproven QB, who is off a horrible season.

I think the late first early second price tag is initially what they would be looking for. But I wouldnt be suprised if they lower that price on Draft day if nothing else can be done.

Either way I dont see him on this team next year, and I hope I'm right

Robertson = gone

Vilma = gone

Pennington = 75/25 most likely gone unless best offer is a 5th or worse

Dyson = gone

Clarke = gone

Barrett = gone

McCareins = gone

Miller = gone

Hobson = gone

E.Coleman = gone

D.Coleman = gone

Ryan = gone

Pociask = gone

Wright or Stuckey or B.Smith = one of them goes unless we keep 6 WR's

Coles = 50/50 - depends on FA & maybe the combine

Barton = 50/50 - depends on getting another starter in the draft or FA gets cut over the summer maybe.

Tui = 50/50 they re-sign him to another 1-yr deal so Clemens isn't only one returning.
