joebabyny
Watch this video. Pretty damn cool. http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/02/20/google-may-buy-balloon-company/ interesting, instead of spending billions on towers, you use disposable 50.00 balloons with reusable 1500 transmitters, that narrows the barrier to entry in the wireless market considerably. I am just wondering, how efficient are they in recovering these transmitters that parachute back to the ground when the balloon dies? At 1,500 a pop you wouldn't want to lose very many. I was thinking the same thing. Amazing time we are living in. All it is going to take is for someone to get hit in the head with one of these things and the party is over.
