I think Memphis has the most talent in the country but their fatal flaw is that they can't shoot free throws consistently and will probably lead to them getting knocked off at some point in the tournament. Granted Memphis should not have been there to begin with, but we are the only team to beat them, as of now. Like it or not....That's something to be proud of. Again? the only year it was wide open in recent memory was 2006 and it's not wide open this year. The Champ will likely come from any of these 4 teams- UNC, UCLA, KU, Memphis. SouthernJet Posted February 28, 2008 Share Posted February 28, 2008 in college basketball when teams in top25 play each other usually the home team is favored on vegas line or very slight underdog,,regardless of who is ranked higher,,, in this case tennessee was only a 2 point favorite at vandy,,this wasnt a upset,,,it was two high ranked teams and the home team won.....
