Barton
Dude, WTF is with this sh*tty umpire? He's squeezing Mussina on the corners. Moose lives on the corners. if he can't get that call, we're f**ked.

Moose lives on the corners. if he can't get that call, we're f**ked. Dude, WTF is it that everytime the Yankees are getting their asses kicked, EB50 blames it on the umpires? If they would assign fair, impartial umps to all Yankee games, the Yanks would go 162-0.

Barton
WOW THAT WAS A TERRIBLE PITCH SELECTION BY STURTZE/POSADA Curve ball on a 1-2 count to Oritz the Gorilla?? He was right on the previous 2 curves before that. Should have busted him in inside and high where he likes to chase it. And when the f*** is this team gonna sack up and knock Ortiz on his fat ***?? Torre talked about it on the WFAN this afternoon saying "We need to make him feel less comfortable" I sure as hell haven't see it.

GimmeShelter
From todays Daily News. Mark McGwire, who played with Giambi in Oakland and has remained his close friend, gave the Yankee first baseman a few tips over the past few weeks that Giambi says were critical to his power resurgence. "He told me to move a little closer to the plate and said I was getting too closed with my front foot, since I usually set up a little open," Giambi said. "It's just little stuff that he notices because he's seen my swing since I was basically a kid." Giambi, who blasted his sixth homer in his last seven games in a 1-for-3 outing last night, said he talks to McGwire sporadically, occasionally calling him to ask how the former slugger's golf game has been. But the talk almost always turns to baseball, Giambi said, since McGwire watches a lot of games on TV. " But McGwire will TiVo Yankee games and then refer to them when he chats with Giambi, who with last night's blast now has six homers in his last seven games. "He'd be an unbelievable hitting coach," Giambi said. "He really is good at that kind of stuff." Donnie had to be happy to see this in print. Bugg
Mattingly cannot be happy. So much for all the great work he's doing in the cage with Giambi.

Jet/BosoxFan
Maybe "hitting coach" is a...how shall I put it? Ah, "pet name" Giamboo has for Big Mac. Dont forget, those 2 engaged in many a session in Oakland Colisseum clubhouse sh*tter stalls inserting large needles up each others asses. Donnie Baseball need not be offended. Maxman
If I was a Red Sox fan 2 things would concern me about Giambi's recent comeback: 1. This lineup is lethal if he produces 2. That may mean that Jone who defended Giambi all along, isn't a jinx after all. Seriously, think about it!

shawn306
You must mean those 'strikes' that were 8 inches off the plate. Wendlestadt was ridiculous last night. First he is calling them then the way they should be called then later in the game he changes the strike zone and starts giving the pitcher the outside part of the plate. There were several times late in the game where I was going WTF . on both sides. He was awful.

He has sucked so hard for so long this year that he is guaranteed himself a bad year. I dont know if you can call this a comeback for that very reason.
