TomShane
I have to admit that I'm a HUGE Yankee fan...whenevr Curt Schilling is pitching against them. Watching ARod put his dick in Boston's ear while going 'Oz' on Schilling was a thing of beauty. Good for ARod and good for the Yanks.

AFJF
I don't know how many of you watched the game but IMHO the BIGGEST pitch in that game was Mussinas 3-1 change-up to Damon. A .342 hitter looking dead red fastball, go ahead run on 3rd and Moose has the balls to throw a change and get him on the next pitch with a two seamer that cut across the inside corner. Great job by Moose after that first inning.

TomShane
I never liked Mussina because I never saw him as a guy that was a kill-or-die competitor. He pitches the same way in spring training as he does in the World Series, which bugs me.

Jet/BosoxFan
Havent we been through this roller coaster before with this team? The 18-game stretch of playing a combo of Oakland and Seattle anyone? What a joke. Theyre just going to pull the table cloth out from underneath you again. Hell, even perennial good guy TomShane is contemplating joining the side of evil. I fear we will lose many a good soul to the side of evil...much like the Prodigal Son, who left the care and nurture of his family for the solace of whores and gambling only to blow his share of his father's wealth...and come crawling back once he was broke and eating pigfeed. And much like the loving father in this parable...I shall welcome TomShane and any other SELLOUT back into the fold and slaughter the proverbial fatted calf...JUST IN TIME FOR THE YANKEE ELIMINATION PARTY! Riiiight. Boston is collapsing. 4-6 last 10, losers of 3 in a row. If you guys lose tonight to Tim Redding, I think it will be time to start the Boston elimination party. Hell, on Saturday night, you could be looking at a 3rd place Boston Red Sox team.

He pitches the same way in spring training as he does in the World Series, which bugs me. I can't stand watching Mussina pitch. The whole "bend over, kiss your toes and throw" delivery irks me. I kept hoping he'd throw his back out. I'd love to see him bend and NOT get up. It may bug me as much as Peyton Manning's faux change the call stuff he does at the line of scrimmage. Annoying.
